More hassle than it's worth
Schmidt’s Sandalwood & Citrus deodorant has a bold, earthy-citrus scent that’s pleasant but overpowering —noticeable throughout the day, which may not be ideal for those who prefer something more subtle. Unfortunately, the formula leaves a lot to be desired. The stick is extremely hard, making application uncomfortable (it pulls at underarm hair). Another downside is how stubborn it is to wash off. Even after a full shower with soap, there’s still a waxy residue left behind. I’ve had to start using a silicone body brush just to fully remove it. Overall, while the scent has potential, the texture and removal issues make it more hassle than it’s worth. I've discontinued its use and have gone back to Everyman Jack.

Wodneful natural deoderant
These Schmidt’s deodorants are wonderful. They are the best natural deodorants we’ve found as a family - no chemicals that cause issues or anything. Every smell has been great, the process point is high, so we wait to stock up during sales. Even the kids like them!

Not a good deodorant
This deodorant made me smell worse than I ever smelled and I have never had a body odor issue. It literally made me smell weird after half a day of it being on. I do not recommend. For the price, it should work, not make you smell worse.

Helps me sleep?
I bought this because I wanted to switch to a natural, aluminum-free product. The first night I used it, I noticed that I slept like a rock. I normally wake up several times during the night and I had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I used it again the next night and slept like a rock again. I realized the only thing I had changed was the deodorant so I looked into the ingredients and apparently magnesium glycinate applied topically is supposed to help you sleep. Worked great for me! It’s fine as a deodorant but I’m going to continue to use it as a sleep aid.

Stains Everything
While it’s aluminum free, which is nice, that’s about the only thing that’s good. It goes on in the most uncomfortable way, feeling incredibly sticky. It will then remain sticky the rest of the day and ensuring that your clothes will stick to you all day. And if that’s not enough, when yoj get it on your clothes this stuff stains like nothing else. Skip this nonsense. It’s awful.

Excellent, but miss the glass jars and free mail-in recycling
This is one of the few deodorants/deodorant brands I like and that truly work. I have sensitive skin, 2 skin conditions, and I’m allergic to aluminum and other things, and Schmidt’s is perfect for me. I’ve been using it for years and I love it. I just wish they still had their deodorant in glass jars and the free mail-in packaging-recycling-for-points program thing they used to have.

Natural deodorant that smells great
I have been looking for a natural deodorant that works as they usually leave you with a bad odor. I tested this out in the summer heat and it worked! I was worried about B.O and e-cards sweat, but I did not smell bad and honestly did not sweat a lot. The smell of this product is light but still noticeable. The only complaint is that it does not go on smoothly and leaves a grey cast on the skin. I’ve seen that people say it leaves grease on clothes so I hope it isn’t the case with me. Overall I’m pretty happy with this natural alternative and am willing to try the other scents.

I love Schmidt's!
This is my favorite deodorant! I love that it's unisex although Target typically keeps it in the men's aisle. My favorite is the Bergamot Lime but I'll take whatever I can get my hands on! Yay for being cruelty free!
