Q: The stick I got at Target store yesterday is horribly gritty. I can't use it at all. Are all the Schmidt deodorants gritty? Is it the baking soda perhaps? Nice scent, but dang, I've got no interest in sandy armpits.

  • A: They are all a little gritty, but they get less gritty when you warm them up. I hold it against my skin for a few seconds before rubbing; that seems to do the trick.

    Leaves you feeling dry :)

    I actually feel like for a natural deodorant they work pretty well and they are less expensive thank other brands. I feel like with this one I stay feeling drier, while some other aluminum free leave me feeling wet under my armpits throughout the day, so that a huge plus! They do leave a little residue so be careful with not showing on clothing. I would recommend this deodorant.

    Do you like vanilla? Do you like rose? Why not try

    This deodorant is a really good product. It’s not sticky nor does it leave a nasty odor. It applies easily on you. The packaging is good. I haven’t had any issues with the packaging the smell none of that. The scent isn’t a strong smell it just leaves the right amount to leaving you smelling good.

    My husband loves Schmidt’s deodorant. My skin is too sensitive to use it, but if you can it works great. Good value! I liked this scent for myself.

    Half the deodorant is missing?!

    I bought two of these, and unfortunately I opened the problematic one second, after the return window. Half the deodorant is missing! How does that even happen?? There was even a smear of deodorant on the plastic clear cover on top to make you think it was a perfectly full container.

    Great product!

    This is one of my favorite deodorants. Its long lasting, smells great and the packaging is cute. The consistency is like a normal dove deodorant and absorbs sweat well.

    Works well for a natural

    Works ok for a natural deodorant. The smell is nice, texture is solid. It worked well enough in a pinch while I was out of my usual deodorant, but not quite as effective for me.

    My first aluminum free deo and best!

    Some years ago I changed my deo to one that is natural and aluminum free and the first one was Schmidt’s Rose and vanilla. It’s effective in helping me stay fresh and clean. The formula is soothing and not overwhelming. I compare all others to this one

    This deodorant is pretty good. It smells great it. It’s very effective at keeping you smelling good doesn’t really reduce sweat but I like that its sustainable and the packaging is really cute. The only downside is it does leave a cakey substance on your clothes which can contribute to staining so be mindful of that

    Good deodorant

    Great for controlling odor but does stain your armpits and will stain on white clothes. I sweat profusely and have an active job, my arm pits though dont stink when I use this and have to be all up in people's faces. The texture hurts and feels like sand paper when I use it too much.

    Years long consumer of this deoderant

    I have been using this deodorant for the last two or three years. I have never ever had any issues with the irritation, which is contrary to other deodorant I have used in the past. I read some of the reviews here that noted red and irritated underarms. I completely believe that because I know not every deodorant works for every person. Personally, I have never had any irritation from it, and I am very impressed with the light fresh smell and the fact that it lasts all day. I live in the mid-Atlantic where the humidity is so bad our real feel temperature is generally over 100° in the summer. I’ve never had any issue with feeling gross or stinky since I’ve been wearing this deodorant. I can’t say the same for previous deodorant I’ve used. If you’re looking for a natural deodorant that lasts a long time I recommend trying this one out. Hopefully it won’t make you irritated, but if so, there’s about to be another one out there that works for you :-)

    Not bad for natural

    Tried this years ago. Wasn’t bad, but I definitely felt that it did not absorb as much moisture or or odor compared to other natural deodorants (like native).
