A: Hello, thank you for your question. We do not recommend placing Scotch-Brite® Sponges in the microwave, as they have not been heat-tested for specific temperatures or heating times. To help clean the sponge, you may place it on the top rack of the dishwasher and run it through a normal cycle. You may also place it in boiling water after the heat has been turned off for 3-5 minutes. If you have any additional questions or feedback, please contact our team at 1-800-846-8887, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm CT. - JEF

A: Hi Ramvis, Thank you for contacting 3M and taking the time to leave your inquiry. We would like to inform that The Scotch-Brite No Scratch Scrub Sponges are safe for non-stick cookware like Teflon(TM), Caphalon(TM), Silverstone, copper, stainless steel pots and pans, etc. These are NOT for stainless steel appliances, only stainless steel cookware. For cook tops, we do recommend caution and testing with any of our products on a small area before using on the full surface, as they do not scratch, but can pick up particles that do scratch. We appreciate your interest in 3M products!
