[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is clear and strong. It held up medium and smaller picture frames nicely. The backing can be a little hard to remove but once you get the end started it comes off clean and it sticks well to walls, glass, and doors.
Go with Gorilla Glue brand instead

It would work great IF you could get the backing off of the second side. The folks who figured out how to manufacture Post-It notes can’t put a 1/16” wider backing on the adhesive tape to help remove it. Wasted half a roll for 6” of tape! I’m went back for the Gorilla brand. Same hold strength but 50 cents more. It was worth it! Get it together folks!

I am so dissatisfied with this product that I considered shipping it back at my expense. I thought with the SCOTCH name it would be as good or better than Gorilla Mounting tape, NOT so.

I bought this within the last month to stick wood to glass tile and it stuck to neither. The wood immediately fell off the wall and the tape didn't stick on the tile either.

I am amazed that a product would be sold with NO ability to remove the backing!!! I had to resort to a Youtube trick, using a dress makers pin...literally felt like I was performing surgery. I will NOT buy or recommend this product to anyone.

Once I make sure my picture is placed level, it mounts flush aganst the wall & doesn't have to be straighten like a standard wall mount. Would definately recommend for applying decorations on your walls.

Works I use 2 layers on my RC Helicopter to mount Gyro Esc and Receivers. This product holds and is a thick vibration absorb-er. The 2 or 5 pound are stiffer and do not have the holding power. It is hard to recommend due to product number which I think is 410. House hold use you can trust this tape and is better in holding power than any duck tape. Super for Vibration Absorption Gyro / Reciever Mounting.

There is no yellowish tinge to the tape and there is no whitening that occurs with exposure to moisture. I used this tape to hold up a vertical succulent garden against a window and to mount a retractable sunshade to the interior of my car’s windshield. For some reason this tape was not able to keep the sunshade attached for more than a couple of days, however performed well with the vertical garden. I suspect it may have to do with exposure to direct sunlight or heat, so I will avoid such applications in the future.

We bought this about a week ago, wish we hadn’t. I needed 54 inches. If the last 7 inches hadn’t been in a mess and two inches glued to the core I might have had enough. I used it in two pieces and at the end it stuck to the backing and part of it came off in a very thin strip. There was no way to get the stuck pieces free,and i’m not a novice at these sorts of projects. I haven’t asked my husband hoe much he paid for it,but I’m sure anything over a dollar was way too much.

This tape is double sided and thick. it sticks so well, you hardly can not remove it. I have used this to repair plastic that kept falling off, and it is a permanent fix. this tape is strong and holds anything in place, i think forever. I highly recommend this tape over all other brands , it is worth the price and works excellently for holding all items in place. From mirrors, plastics, tools, anything that needs to stay..it will hold in place and does a great job!.
