Description
Scotts® EZ Seed® Dog Spot Repair has a special salt neutralizer formula that minimizes the effects of salts from dog urine and repairs up to 100 dog spots in your lawn. Dog Spot Repair Tall Fescue Lawns consists of a combination of high performance grass seed, mulch that expands to surround the seed, a soil amendment that repairs areas burned by dog urine, tackifier to help keep seeds from washing away and a protectant to help keep seeds safe. There are three easy steps to success: 1) prep the area by removing dead grass and loosening hard soil, 2) evenly apply EZ Seed® so the area is mostly covered but bare ground is still visible, and 3) saturate with water until no more water is being absorbed and seed turns dark brown. When EZ Seed® begins to turn light brown, it's time to water again. Plant seed in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55°F and 70°F, or air temperatures between 60°F and 80°F. For best results, keep kids, pets, and lawn mowers off newly planted seedlings until the grass is 3 inches high.

A: Dogs can immediately return to the area after an application of Scotts EZSeed Dog Spot Repair Sun And Shade. Nice Results Very Fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot describe how well this seed works as well as my pics. My dog had knee surgery and did his business close to the back door. Two weeks after I seeded the spots it is hard to tell the difference from the lawn. Unreal and great results. Three pics I have included show the first day, six days and 2 weeks. Amazing.

Most of the time when this occurs, it is because the weed seeds were dormant buried deep into the soil from weeds that were present in that area of the lawn previously. Quick, easy to use!
EZ Seed! Exactly how it was named. I have 3 dogs so I needed dependable, fast resulting product. Easy to use container for any adult and even my kids when asked to put on those needy areas. Just what is needed for problem spots for dog owners
Since dogs tend to love to go in certain areas, the dog spot repair mix is truly warranted for repairing the bare spots. Pet urine discolors and damages the green areas, but this product repairs and restores the bare spots so that the grass is green and healthy again. It also helps to spray these areas with a pet (urine) repellant beforehand.

Beats the Pennington Product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple of years ago I sent you folks side by side comparisons of the Pennington Spot Repair vs. the Scott's Spot Repair. Pennington won hands down. This year I again used Pennington and was not happy with their reformulated product, so I tried your Scott's Reformulated (from a couple of years ago) Spot Repair and was amazed at the rapid, healthy growth. This year you guys win...Hands Down! Only problem experienced was washout in rain deluges.
