Inexpensive Mattress but with filling of "Uknown Origin"

I purchased this mattress believing it has 85% cotton fill but when it arrived the actual label says the padding is 69% textile of "Unknown Origin" and out of the remaining... 23% filling 75% is cotton based. The mattress has quite a springy feel to it which I guess might be OK and firm for an infant if you are looking at a cheap mattress.And if you would be at peace with "Unknown". I wasn;t and I returned it promptly since luckily I still had the return window open for me.

I have had this mattress for two years and I love the Sealy brand. It has held up great through infant and toddler stage. Honestly, it still looks brand new. I like that it is firm and fits the standards for safe sleep but it is still comfy and cozy for my son. I have actually slept on it since converting my sons's bed to a toddler bed and it was rather comfy to me too. The mattress seems durable and has no rips, tears or stains. I use the Sealy waterproof mattress pad on top of it and it has held up great over the years. My son has peed through his diaper, spit up and vomited in his bed and there are no stains. I like that it is waterproof for those moments especially in the middle of the night. I can easily wipe it down and put on a new pad and sheet without too much of a fuss.

This matress was delivered quickly. I didn't notice any odor. It fit my crib perfectly, nice and snug. The matress encasement that I bought as well as matress protectors fit perfectly too. Now we are just waiting for our little one to arrive to out it to use!
