In regards to the wheel at the bottom of the canister, due to the consistency of this soft solid, it requires a thumbwheel that, when not in use, permits pressure relief. Without this special thumbwheel, the product would weep out. Unfortunately, the negative of this is it is sometimes hard to turn. If the dial is turned the wrong way (counter-clockwise), it can break off of the screw and fall off completely. Once this happens, it cannot be fixed. We'd like to assist you further.
