Please be aware that these curtains may list as blackout but they are the opposite. They do not muffle and sort of light. If anything, the white color and the translucency causes a brightening reaction within a room, NOT blackout curtains at all.

These curtains are very pretty and elegant looking, but they are not blackout curtains. They do filter the light, but you can certainly still see light through them, much more than I anticipated. I bought these to replace some true blackout curtains that I've had for almost 10 years. The previous curtains (that I also bought from Target) were cheaper but made my room pitch black. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep up these new curtains in my bedroom or replace them with my true blackout curtains and put these in the living room instead.

I surely found the one! I was looking for white curtains that would allow sunlight in the room and be thick enough to prevent anyone from looking into our home, this curtain was it! I was excited to receive the elegant, cloud gray curtains. So disappointed as they were neither elegant nor gray. They looked more beige with a hideous silky, goldish backing that already had snags. Decided to hang them to see how they would look. They were too short in the width. Description said 52” wide and I measured them at 50”. I will be returning.

I love these catering two layer room darkening curtains. They are elegant with a satiny under layer and sheer top layer. They provide plenty of privacy and protection from the hot Alabama sun in June (94 degrees today). Pics are straight out of package so wrinkles are not bad and will fall out. This is the third set of curtains I have purchased for this sliding glass door in eat-in kitchen, so I'm not easily satisfied. But these satisfy!

Pretty curtains, look slightly “cheap”, but perfect for my daughter’s room. Keeps it bright enough while filtering out morning light. Unfortunately with the two sets we ordered, one came with several holes in the sheer layer and dirt/grease streaks on both layers. Marks we could wash but can’t fix the holes. And now they’re out of stock.
