One stool came chipped. Assembly not that great. After putting all pieces together it came to our attention that the base was chipped. Says acasia wood, but feels cheap plastic coated composite. Assembly was tedious, stool legs needed to be held together tightly by another person to add the screws in.

Very well made. Took some work to assemble them, but that's a good thing. Very tight and stable. These are going to last a long time. Also look great in my new kitchen and island. Perfect height and very comfortable. Love them.

Great stools. They are made of a composite material which at first I was concerned about but they are holding up really well. Kids have banged them into each other and they are not showing wear. We sprayed the fabric seats with a protectant and they are holding up great. Overall a good purchase.
