Seventh Generation Multi-Surface Disinfecting Cleaner kills 99.99% of household germs, including cold and flu viruses*. Our disinfecting formula is designed for daily cleaning and disinfecting of the hard, non-porous surfaces inside and outside the home and does not require a rinse, even on food contact surfaces. A: I have three young children, and they have been totally fine being around this product (inc. putting toys in their mouths that I have used this cleaner to clean).

Q: It says it’s ok to use on pacifiers. Does this mean that immediately after use on a pacifier, baby can put pacifier in mouth?

A: This item is suitable for use on all hard, nonporous surfaces where bacteria or unpleasant odors are a concern, including children's toys, appliances, high chairs, garbage cans, countertops, changing tables. To disinfect and deodorize these items, wet the surface with the spray, then leave for 10 minutes and allow to air dry. No rinsing or wiping is required.

Q: Can this product be used for granite, marble, and quartzite like your former natural cleaner?

A: Yes, the Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner can be used on granite, marble, and quartz surfaces. The only types of hard, non-porous surfaces we do not recommend using the disinfectants on are raw and untreated wood.

A: Our Disinfectant products are intended for use as disinfectants on hard, non-porous surfaces and should only be used in accordance with label instructions. The efficacy of disinfectants on hard, nonporous surfaces can be easily verified through tests, while efficacy on porous surfaces requires a different set of tests which we have not conducted for these products.

This was my first botanical disinfectant purchase and I was a bit skeptical at first, but it's proven to be an effective cleaner and I've used it throughout my home. I don't care too much for this scent, but that's just personal preference and I will repurchase in a different scent.

The smell is atrocious. I was excited to try but once I sprayed it was so bad. I cannot believe it is supposed to be lemongrass and citrus. It smells like an oil or chemical. I would not recommend and will not buy again.

Purchased this cleaner a couple of weeks ago. First time I used it I was shocked at the chemical scent that was supposed to be 'lemongrass citrus scent'. I had sprayed and wiped my floor with it and once I smelled it I immediately washed my floor with a different cleaner so my dogs weren't not able to ingest this product in any way. Decided to use it in my bathroom where my dogs couldn't be exposed. Sprayed it into my sink and the cleaner ate the paint off of my black drain hardware. No lie. How can this stuff be safe without having to rinse?

I love this safe multi surface cleaner, works great with out all the bad chemicals. I see most of the bad reviews are aimed at the smell. It says Lemon Grass right on the front and that is what it smells like. To me its earthy and has a very clean smell. I had ants on my counter and it killed and detered them out for about 5 days. 5 stars

This is a household staple for me. Yes, the smell is a strong essential oil-type fragrance, but it doesn't irritate my chemical sensitivity like some other cleaners. I does a good job of disinfecting my countertops AND I use it to kill ants in my mailbox. Bugs hate this stuff. I can use it without fear of poisoning my mail carrier with chemicals.

Smells really bad! I saw other reviews that said the same thing but thought maybe it was just others really sensitive noses. My daughter walked by the bathroom while I was cleaning it with this spray and she said “Mom what smells so bad”. It was this cleaner. Definitely returning.
