  • A: Textured ceilings, maybe (texture has to be shallow; "popcorn" ceilings, no. The flatter the surface, the better. In my case, we have semi-gloss painted ceilings and walls and the car had a hard time transitioning from the wall to the ceiling (the wheels would slip).

    Disappointed in the Sharper Image Remote Control Gravity Rover

    Awesome!

    It's really neat I got one for my 7-year-old and 11-year-old and they both think that it is super cool. My 11-year-old son said he's never seen anything like that before. When it loses battery it stops sticking to the wall and you have to charge it takes a lot of power to run the fan to create gravity. Battery runs about 7 minutes when sticking to the wall. Due to the high speed of the fans it is loud and hair gets caught in the fan propellers you have to keep cleaning them.

    unsafe, dangerous

    not safe for younger kids! husband set it down teaching the 7 year old the controls when the 3 year old grabs the squealing car. Then 3 year old is squealing in pain and blood running down his hand. his finger got caught in the blade. while holding pressure and soothing him, the 7 year old grabs the car off the wall and then he comes in the kitchen with blood running down *his* hand too because he also got clipped by the blade and has a chunk missing from his finger.
