Sharpie 8pk S-Gel Pens 0.7mm Black Barrel Medium Tip Multiple Ink Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are great- some of my favorites. They write very well. The ink is smooth and truly doesn’t smudge. I’m not left handed but several people in my family are so I’m well aware of their struggles with writing & having ink smudge on their left hand. I tested writing with my left hand and I didn’t have any ink smudge on my hand or on the paper, so that’s a major win in my book. Especially for how inky/easy-glide the pen writes. The various colors are also a lot of fun and are pretty vibrant. I received an incentive to write this review.

I like that it doesn’t have a removable cap as I tend to lose those really quickly. This set comes with a variety of colors great for kids! I like that it’s 0.7 mm which is bold font but it works really well. Appreciate the size and the feel of the pens it’s very aesthetic. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a pack of the Sharpie pens with 5 different colors: red, green, blue, purple, and black. I appreciated that there were extra black pens but wish they had an extra blue too. I like how these write- I typically press down hard when writing and still get a good line with them. I noticed that when I used the red pen for the first time there was some skipping so it may need to be warmed up on a piece of scrap paper if that makes sense. As far as being “no smear”, as with many pens, it may need a second to dry because I purposely tested smearing the ink as I wrote, but then if I waited a second it would not smudge or smear. I didn’t notice any ink bleeding through the lightweight paper either. Overall, I appreciated how bold these are as gel pens and will continue to use these but maybe not for long writing projects. I have always liked sharpie markers, and I didn’t realize that they make great pens that have very thick ink in them. That is very easily legible after writing. I use my cell during my journaling. I was able to use different colors to represent different things like the date, important events titles and to write under illustrations so they stand out. At first glance they are a very sleek and sharp looking pen, and the colored ones are marked with a subtle ring just above the grip. The pens have a nice sturdy feel, with just the right weight to them. The grip has a good feel to it and is not too soft. I received an incentive to write this review.

They are not ball point so may smear a tiny bit if it’s a thicker paper, but even my left-handed husband was able to write without smearing. These pens have vibrant colors and were easily able to be used to make our weekend chore list and chore charts or calendars where everyone is assigned a different color. I am not an artist but still had a lot of fun drawing with the set. I will definitely be getting more of these to have around my house and for my calaldar which I finds it’s helpful to have colors. I love the thickness of these (medium 0.77m) which is the perfect size for every day writing. They write well, are easy to use, the weight is light, but not too light to feel cheap. Sometimes pens make good handwriting bad, but not these pens. I like how smooth they write and how well my writing look. I highly recommend these pens for all uses! I used purple to label my daughter’s sweatshirt for school. It did bleed through the tag a bit but that’s okay. The color is indicated on the ring above the grip. It looks great for all colors but note the black pens are indicated with a silver ring instead of a black ring I received an incentive to write this review.

They write smoothly from the jump and I didn’t have to put extra work in to make it write. After writing one word I dragged my finger against the ink and there was no smear! I use them in my home office and this set is a nice mix of several colors and multiple black ink. I do wish that there were several blue ink, but that is not a deal breaker. The other colors are purple, blue, red, and green which includes one of each color in the pack. The colors included are nice and bright. I think this pen pack would be a great gift for teachers! I was excited to test the no smearing claim, and was pleasantly suprised that it is true. The quality of the line is nice and smooth, and straight out of the package it only takes a quarter inch or so of writing before the ink flows smoothly. The grip is perfect - no complaints all. The pens each have a center band which designates what color they are which is very helpful as this set in particular has 5 colors - 4 black, 1 purple, 1 green, 1 red, and 1 blue. I love that these come in all different colors to make my writing fun or festive. I am disappointed because I thought that these would be bolder colors when I would write with them. I love to have color options when I’m writing so having a five different colors to choose from is wonderful. Plus you have three black pens giving someone enough to choose a standard color if needed. They write smooth and do not smear as advertised. They are lightweight and the finger grip makes the pen feel more secure while writing. Overall a great value. Four of the pens are black, but you also get a red, blue, and purple and green pen which have the perfect gliding ink. There are a total of eight pence in the set and they have a great comfort grip that helps you from tiring out after lots of writing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously tried Sharpie gel pens and really like the way they write, so I got this value pack that includes 4 pens with black ink and 4 pens with different colored ink. I initially really liked the aesthetic of the design with the colored metallic ring around the barrel which indicates the ink color. However, I realized that if I keep my pens in a cup-shaped container then it’s had to tell the color unless I pull each one out to see. Overall that is a minor annoyance. Right out of the box it sets to work with ease effortlessly writing Lucious black ink to the page so smooth that it makes you not want to stop writing. I don’t think I will ever or have ever had a pen that writes this good. I haven’t had the pen long enough to do a long term review but I can say that it is special so far!
