This oil smells like vomit. I don’t understand why!

I really wanted to love this but it smelled like vomit! It was so bad I had to throw it out.

I opened it as soon as it arrived, could not wait to try it out. The smell turned my stomach. It smells like 200 year old parmesan cheese. There is no way I will put this on my skin or hair. If this is 100% coconut oil, it should smell like pure coconut. I missed the review stating that it smelled like blue cheese. They are absolutely right.

I have tried expensive products to try to get rid of dandruff and nothing seemed to cut it. I decided to try this since I already hear great things about it and it worked wonders!!! I massaged my scalp and used a fine brush to get the product on my scalp. I left the product on me for most of the day (you might want to do this at home because the scent is strong). When i washed it off there was no more dandruff! It’s been a week since I last applied and my hair looks so shiny and healthy!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE

i have been using this for years but this last tub smelled rancid.

Literally bought the Shea moisture 100% extra-virgin coconut oil maybe like a month ago at target, the jar was bigger and it’s 14.5 ounces. I ran out of it. so I went back to target to buy a NEW one and it definitely looks smaller. I looked at the ounces and it’s 10.5 ounces. It cost more now, but it looks like they took coconut ounces of the jar. It will make sense more, if it’s the same ounces of coconut, and then raise the price of it…. So now get less pay more? Also, the smell and texture was different🙃

Love you this coconut oil all over. It works really good as a first cleanse to remove makeup. Also like using it after getting out of the shower. It melts super easy and absorbs into the skin.

I waited a week or so before using this. When I opened it I immediately applied it to my skin after a shower and noticed a funky smell. When I realized it was the oil I had to rewash my hands and the places I’d applied it. I also had to wipe down my vanity that it has been sitting on. I wish I had thought to return it and get a refund, but sadly I just immediately double bagged it and threw it in the trash. Maybe it had been sitting on the shelf too long. Either way, I won’t buy it again.

This moisturizer is great. Used it on my arms and legs after getting too much sun and it kept my skin from drying out and peeling

I use it for my daughter and it works wonders on her hair and skin this product has lasted MONTHS!!

Smells like blue cheese Might has well get unrefined coconut oil so you at least smell good

I even use this product in my hot tea since it 100% coconut oil...on this site someone asked if it was edible you said no but the outside of container reads 100% so I have been using it internally and no issues....sofar

This product and brand is a staple in our household. Growing up using coconut oil for everything and doing the same as an adult. So happy there is now a convenient container and organic product! Good to use for dry skin, normal body moisturizer, minor eczema (babies and adults alike), keeping eczema at bay, hair, face, nails, etc. Able to use for any age (babies too!) or any skin type. Must get in larger jar if the whole family uses as it goes quickly. Just note, when cold, oil solidifies. If not, the oil becomes a liquid. Also careful when using a lot as it may stain some material (for example pillow cases and sheets). We use this so much I wish they created a travel/portable version to keep in diaper bags, car, purse, luggage, etc!

For years i’ve been using Vaselines cocoa radiant gel oil after my showers. But one day, I figured I would use something different. I ran into Sheas moisture coconut oil and figured I would give it a shot. All I can say is WOW. My skin has NEVER felt this soft before. I have noticed a huge difference within a week. My fiancé even noticed it one day after rubbing my arms, “your skin is softer”. I love using this immediately after a shower, putting it all over my body and finish it off with a body cream! This is now one of my holy grails items. it will forever be an item that I must have after my showers!

Love it. I use it on my toddler daily. It keeps his skin moisturized all day.

The oil was smelling rancid. It came open and leaked in the the delivery package.

This product does not have any coconut smell, although it says it is 100% pure coconut oil. I compared it to my gold standard Nutiva organic cold pressed coconut oil which has the characteristic natural smell of unrefined cold pressed coconut oil. I’m returning it because I’m not sure what it is. It could be deodorized to remove the natural smell, which is not what I want. I thrive on that natural coconut smell because it’s how I know it’s minimally processed. I bought this product because I like a smaller jar than Nutiva’s smallest jar, to refill with Nutiva and carry around. I bought RMS Beauty raw coconut cream instead. It comes in a small jar and I will refill it with the Nutiva when the RMS is empty. I did this because I don’t need to buy small glass jars in bulk for the same price as the RMS product. I would rather get more coconut oil, instead of unnecessary extra jars.

My Skin is feeling so smooth and soft without the oily feel. My skin absorbs this Oil so good! Defenitly will continue to purchase this item!
