lotion is way too thick, it wouldn't come out of the pump and it was just super annoying. also the feeling of the lotion on my skin was so bad it wouldn't mix in and left my skin sticky and uncomfortable. I will literally never buy this lotion ever again

The bottle and pump leaves a lot to be desired, BUT once you learn how this lotion works, it’s a Godsend! A lot of reviews claim that the lotion leaves a thick residue and flakes after applying. What I learned is that this lotion is an amazing exfoliant! I apply the lotion liberally on one body part and let it dry down a bit while doing another part and then go back to the dried down portion and rub my skin in a circular motion, allowing the friction to let the dead skin literally fall off my body. I know it sounds weird/gross, but I was left with baby soft skin after doing my whole body like this and with continued use, there will be no residue and you’ll be left with soft, moisturized skin. This method works best after a hot shower, so the dead skin is already softened slightly from the warm water (like a pedicure). I did my whole body and it removed sooooo much dead skin. It is a staple in my body care regimen and the fact that it’s all natural is the cherry on top!

I really wanted to like it but it's not for me sadly. It's very thick and the pump is so small for it. It does smell good but just leaves a waxy feeling on top of skin. It doesn't feel like it's being absorbed into my skin, it just feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin. It made my jeans feel so uncomfortable and like it was sticking to me. I even waited a little bit after applying the lotion to put on my jeans.

Lotion is extremely thick and won’t come out of the pump. You need to use a different container or squeeze it out. It does not absorb well into my skin, leaves a residue, and I don’t find it very hydrating. I will not be repurchasing.

So thick it’s impossible to pump out or get out. But thick doesn’t mean good. It doesn’t soak in well. Heavily perfumed. But not a coconut scent like you’d expect, just an old fashioned perfume smell. I’ll be returning it.

So disappointing. While the product is amazing it's to think to pump out of the bottle. So unless you've got a creative way to cut the bottle I'd pass on this product.

I buy the baby shea moisture lotion and I go through a lot of it for both my kids, I was hoping this bigger bottle was going to be the way to go. I returned it unfortunately, the lotion is way to thick to pump out, nothing like the baby shea 8oz bottle.

I really like the smell of the lotion. It is very thick and moisturizing which I like. The actual product is too thick to make it through the pump so you have to squeeze it out of the bottle. Minutes after applying, it started to pill on my skin. It is still hydrating but I really don’t like the pilling.

Very hydrating, it’s definitely on the thicker side. Everyone is right about the pump, it took a lot of pumps before product actually came out. I live in Arizona so a thick lotion is definitely not what I’m looking for in the summertime but any other place it might’ve sufficed for that reason. I personally could not get past the smell. I’m not too picky on smell, but I didn’t like the way it mixed my body chemistry. I love that the ingredient list is mostly clean but It kind of smells ALMOST similar Bengay (ifykyk). Maybe Bengay’s cousin if you will. And I have always hated that smell or anything even remotely like it. The smell fades after about 15 minutes but I’m deciding to return it because of that reason and try the brand’s other lotions and see if I have better luck.

Super thick consistency, tried to go for a cleaner alternative but not a fan of the ingredients. It is so thick and DRYING. it doesn’t moisturize at all. It doesn’t soak in at all, my arms started peeling skins after using it was so drying. Pricey and does a horrible job.

This is my favorite body lotion. It smells lovely and hydrates my very dry skin. I transfer the contents into an old tub that I had when I purchased a BBW body cream years ago and it works great. I'm not sure why they haven't replaced the packing yet, as the tub use for their 100% coconut oil would work great for this product.

Waxy/ sticky consistency… My skin does not feel moisturized. It also left a deodorant-like build up all over my clothes. The packaging/ bottle doesn’t work well for the product either.

As others have stated the pump is useless! I bought this to maintain a spray tan and it was super hydrating and worked for that BUT not being able to use the pump made it messy, it is super thick! Also, if you don’t apply this right out of the shower it will feather and you’ll have little white balls shedding all over you. And if that weren’t enough, the product transfers and leaves a white cast on clothing! I didn’t care much for the smell, it didn’t really smell like coconut to me. There are proably as hydrating lotions out there without these issues.

The viscosity of this lotion makes it very difficult to dispense from a pump. It's so thick I was unable to remove the lotion to place it in a jar. This is a thick cream not a lotion and was a waste of money for me.

Lotion is too thick for the pump. Lotion does not come out after continuously pumping. Ended up having to take the pump off and just squeeze it out of the bottle. This lotion should be in a jar or at least have a thicker, stronger pump to make it usable!
