I am half Hispanic so my white mother didn’t have much experience dealing with my hair type. After being taught to use the poo’s for thin or regular hair types like my mum’s, I was always left with huge, frizzy hair, which really upset me when I was growing up. Why couldn’t I have pretty, shiny, soft hair :(. Upon using this version of shea moisture, in particular, I was absolutely WOWED with the results. My hair felt so pretty, so thick and so so healthy! The waves finally got to show their volume without any noticeable frizz or mix-matched textures (curly/straight/wavy). This is my very favorite shampoo (paired with the matching conditioner). Please never stop producing this!!! The smell is a little fruity, not overwhelming at all. You don’t have to use a handful of product to get results, and it really does work (with my hair type). Mom still doesn’t understand— but shoooot, I sure do.

My hair is noticeably less frizzy after just 3 uses. I really love the scent, it's nice a subtle. The only downside is this shampoo doesn't lather, at all. No amount of shampoo I use or how much I scrub it doesn't lather at all, it kind of feels like I'm washing my hair with conditioner which is weird to me.

I have been searching for a shampoo and have tried everything on the market. I just used this on mu medium wavy hair that loves moisture. This cleans and moisturizes without any build up. Tons of shine and no frizz at all. I did follow with daily hydration conditioner, and I have perfect hair. You made another amazing product.

I've tried multiple different brands hoping that they'd give my hair the same kind of relief it's been given after using Shea Moisture products, especially this one, but I always end up coming back. It helps reduce frizz, gives my hair a nice subtle scent, leaves my hair super soft and doesn't leave my hair an oily mess.

I wish the shampoo would foam/lather up more, I feel like you need to use more shampoo because of it. I also don't like how the conditioner has a pump top. it is a little inconvenient especially if your hands are slippery and you need more conditioner. besides that I really do like it feel like it leaves my hair clean.

It was only soft for a short minute and then it felt like a different texture. Either way, it’s smelled really good and my sister loves it. It works better for her hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I just want to say off the top that this shampoo smells lovelyyyyyy. It has a sweet tropical smell, but it is not overpowering. It will definitely make your hair smell wonderful~~~~~~ The texture of the shampoo is also pretty cool, it’s super fluid making it easy to spread throughout your scalp. The main issues I had with this shampoo is that it did not decrease the frizz in my hair, and it also wasn’t very hydrating. Had it at least improved my hair in any way I would have given it a higher rating, but overall it just wasn’t the right product for me.

Using the conditioner that comes with it definitely helped but I think the tangles that come with using this shampoo is a con. A pro is that is smells so sweet and fruity and refreshing I love it.

I even flat ironed my hair and there was def just as much frizz

I did have to use a cleansing natural shampoo before using this shampoo because it does not clean my scalp well as I like. I've used shea moisture before and have run into that issue so I was aware of it. But overall loved the scent.
