Definitely loved using this on my wigs, it gave it some shine and volume as well. Be careful though because it is stick on the hands after usage. I do recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this product (especially after seeing the beautiful Cynthia Bailey-Hill and her daughter as ambassadors), however there is such a strong chemical smell upon first pump. The smell doesn’t linger thankfully, but they is very off putting. Besides the smell, does it work? Yes, it does. I was generous using more than one pump (than normal with a competitor) on my closure after washing my unit to make sure there were no flyaways. I am pleased with the results, but the initial smell would not make me want to go run out and purchase this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that this would hold the hair in place, or smoothen it out, but it actually makes it a bit more static-like :( Maybe this works best on curly hair, as I primarily use straight extensions. I’m going to continue to use it though, would hate to waste product.

I have been wearing weave for like 10 years and I’ve been searching for something to restore the hair to its natural state. Unfortunately this left my hair very dry very crunchy and feeling very unhealthy. Super sad. I was looking forward to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely laid down my flyaway hairs, ALL OF THEM. However it was only for a limited amount of time. I’d say 3-4 hours max. A firm hold once laid down would be nice. I’d say pair this with a holding spray for extra care. It smells nice and my hands weren’t sticky after application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time I used this product but it was so easy to use and I found equally as pleasing when I had apply on the adhesive that needed to be removed. I would highly recommend it over other releasing agents. This was safe on the skin and caused no irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Shea Moisture products and enjoy how gentle their mousse is. It doesn’t make hair crunchy which I can’t stand. It isn’t my fave scent but it does help hair to lie flatter post wrap using natural ingredients. While better products exist for this purpose, I love that this brand steers away from harsh ingredients that help target needs of your hair.

I used the product to smooth my braids and keep them neat and frizz-free, and the product worked great for that. I am going to repurchase in the future.

It does however help create nice curls and has a strong hold. Maybe change the cakey feeling after the product dries and you’ll be on to something great!
