Shoal Creek Storage Chest with Lid Stay Safety - Soft White - Sauder

This toy box is exactly what I was looking for!! It’s sturdy, easy to assemble and functional. Now the kids’ dress up clothes aren’t all over.

After paying way too much at furniture stores, I decided to take a chance and purchase this item for at-home assembly project. This was my first time purchasing furniture from Target and had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when the item was delivered and left outside my front door, the package was intact and there were neither visible damages nor major dents on the box. As a bonus, there were no missing pieces and the instruction booklet provided had pretty decent instructions, especially for a rookie DIY at-home assembly project. Thankfully I had help from my younger sibling who is very handy to help with a couple of steps that I needed clarification on. As a first timer, I made sure I provided myself plenty of time and a distraction-free environment to work on this project. The storage chest turned out to be a bit smaller than I had anticipated. However, it is practical, handy, and a nice piece of furniture to help decorate the room while providing storage at the same time. As a bonus, I got to save money in the process too!

I purchased this as a furniture piece for my living room to store all my sons toys. It looks great with the furniture and it is very sturdy and solid. I am very happy with my purchase.

The chest are perfect for what I need them for. When the arrived a piece was broken. Called Sauder and the were very helpful and courteous . Sent me another piece in return mail. Very pleased.

Good quality. I was able to put it together myself! Love that my daughter won't pinch her fingers in it.

The Bottom (D) is installed 4 1/4 " from the bottom of the chest which leaves 12 1/4" of actual depth in the chest. Caution:>> The Front (H) can be installed either way and, in fact, did install it backwards. After noticing the Hidden Cams were exposed was able to loosen the Right End (A) enough to flip the Front around to correct installation.
