While they have an IP67 rating, which means they can withstand sweat, rain, and splashes, they are not waterproof enough for submersion in water. Shokz does however offer a different model, specifically designed for swimming, called the Shokz OpenSwim. Those headphones have an IP68 rating, making them fully waterproof and submersible. They also have built-in storage for music, as Bluetooth does not transmit well underwater. Third rendition and appreciate the improved sound with still the option of bone conduction when using ear plugs to block out ambient noise when needed. The air conduction option sounds better and still allows for ambient awareness. Very comfortable for all day wear and even to sleep with although not as comfortable as no headphones better than in ear options I've used

They do exactly what they are meant to do
I like to be able to hear when I'm riding a bike, not worry that the earphones will fall or that I won't be able to hear my surroundings. These earphones do so that well that I just keep them on for the rest of the day. They have good sound, don't expect noise cancellation and the greatest audio as these leave your ears open. But for every day use they are really good. The drawback is just since they are not in ear or over ear if you are in a noisily place it will severely affect performance, but the overall result is I love these earphones great to listen to music and phone calls all day

Really good very impressed
I find the fit to be really good. It easily connects through Bluetooth. Audio is clear it appears with my phone really easily. On occasion, it can feel like it’s not very loud, but it might just be the background noise in the gym. I cannot figure out how to get them to turn the music down. The battery life seems to be very good as well. They seem to be fairly durable and seem to be working really well.

Not what they used to be
The new model don't seem to use the same bone conducting tech they used to. The whole reason I bought these was because I wear them at work with earplugs. The new model doesn't offer the depth of sound their predecessors do. If you want something thats a deviation from what this company is known for, these might be it. But for how I, and most people I know with a pair, use them, buy the cheaper, previous model that does what youre probably looking for.

Vastly exceeded expectations
When my previous workout (open ear) earbuds died, I asked around for recommendations, and most people pointed me to Shokz. I’d never had bone conduction headphones before, but I decided to try it out. The shipment case fast and it was easy to set up. The sound quality blew me away. Not just for spoken word, but even the music sounded great. And I could still hear the world around. It exceeded my medium-to-high expectations. I’d highly recommend!

Sound is as good as any headphone I have used. The big difference is that I can wear these headphones without worrying about them falling out and losing them. I can also hear things around me so I feel safer. Excellent choice.

I like the setup, the comfort, but the sound, ugh, regardless of what EQ setup I have going I can hear a whistling noise coming from the ear pieces. Even at low volume you can hear what sounds like a whistle like feedback.

This is my 3rd pair of Shokz headset and for me the Openrun 2 does not fit as tight as my previous pair, so I lose some of the bass. Overall I love the concept of bone conducted headsets, and Shokz specifically. However this model doesn't impress me on sound quality

I have used Shokz for many years and started with aftershokz aeropex for both my runs and work. I have upgraded to the open pro 2s and they are amazing. The sound is on another level and the mic actually picks up my voice better.
