The sound quality is great in low ambient noise environments. If you work in a place that’s loud you might as well get regular Shokz headphones because the sound your eardrum hears naturally will drown out the sound over bone conduction. Great for medium to low noise environments that require communication with teammates. I work in an aircraft manufacturing facility and depending on the time of day and what’s going on around me I have a 5-star and 1-star experience. That’s not a reflection on the headphones though, just where I’m using them. I’d really like to try the minis, but I already made my purchase so it is what it is. I frequently have to put the back of my head against a rolling creeper to get underneath the aircraft and the regular headband hits the headrest and pushes the headphones away from my head. If Shokz let me try out a mini version and it didn’t have that issue I’d recommend it to all of my colleagues. Right now using the full sized headphones and sometimes having to use earplugs when riveting is going on around me… they work well, but I still can’t give them a 5. I wish there was a 3. 5-4 for my specific use and application. I heard the mini version is better for people who have to rest the back of their head on things during work but I can’t afford a second pair to try it out and review that experience. I wear them for about 12 hours a day while wearing safety glasses and have no issues with comfort.

Decent quality sound, but nothing impressive. Solid battery life, weight on ears gets uncomfortable after about an hour compared to the older models.

Disappointed Shokz doesn’t endorse product exchanges, only returns. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope Shokz can embrace better customer care policies in the future. Very disappointed.

Love the new open run pro 2, however the battery life is misleading. 7-8 hrs is more reasonable. No where near the claimed 12 hrs battery life. My old open run battery last longer. Either way, a huge improvement over the old one.

Fantastic product. Comfortable to wear all day. Sound is much better than 1st generation. Battery lasts all day.

I was sad to have to return these. They were quality product but were not sufficient for my application. The background noise canceling wasn’t adequate enough to have a phone conversation in a noisy environment. Nor loud enough to overcome that noise. So both directions it lacked. My needs also required voice commands which I hoped I could get around without. But, not so much! A gym or office environment and free hands would deem this a great product I could get used to.

Only qualms I have with this unit is skip track is tricky and the charge plug opens from up to down, not down to up, making it challenging for people with bigger fingers and professionals that must keep closely trimmed nails. I am impressed with the sound, battery life, mic noise reduction, the app compliments and enhanced your specific needs for audio types. I recommend them highly.

I couldn’t be happier since purchasing my OpenRun Pro 2’s. the sound is so much clearer and louder, and I haven’t had any issues with battery life on my long runs! I absolutely love these upgraded headphones and continue to recommend them to friends and family.

I keep finding myself having to readjust the volume for ambient sound way more then any other headphones. Even low to moderate volume background noise seems to noticeably affect its performance. It was expected but not to the level I experience. It brings up the concern for which I bought them, hearing damage due to volume.

The only thing keeping the 5 star of us the range of volume. On a busy street, the loud isn't enough to listen well, and at home the low volume could be lower. Otherwise, excellent! I wild recommend them. They work fine with glasses and are comfortable and easy to use.

Very impressed with the sound quality and how comfortable these are. Would purchase again.

I recently received the OpenRun Pro 2 headset and gave it a short test. I noticed right away that the voice feedback I valued in earlier OpenRun models is missing on this version. That prompt used to be a simple but helpful confirmation that the headset had connected properly. Also, the sound quality on this unit (Kipchoge Co-branded Edition) felt like a step down compared to what I’ve experienced with previous OpenRun versions. That said, I’m holding off on a full review for now. I’ve returned this one and plan to reorder the same model (not co-branded), just to be sure this wasn’t an isolated case. Looking forward to seeing if the next one performs better.

Got 2 good uses out of them before they stopped charging. Return processes was easy. Hopefully the new pair work.

I bought these for a half marathon and they worked great. I then used them on a Nepal trek to Everest Base Camp and they worked great and lasted a long time between charges. I like to use them while hiking as they let me hear my surroundings while enjoying music. I look forward to my continued use!

Sound is clear and deep. Headphones do not slip as I run. They fit well around the neck.

Had noise cancelling headphones for years, so it was a little different getting used to an open ear version, but very happy so far!
