Q: it's difficult to tell when contrasted against the brown version of this item but what part is colored exactly? is the glass itself tinted or is the color referring to the hardware?

    Defective and poorly assembled

    I purchased this Threshold soap dispenser and was really disappointed with the quality. The top arrived in three separate pieces, and it was obvious something was wrong. When I looked closer, there was dried glue inside the top where the plastic piece was supposed to be attached to the metal. It looks like it was originally glued together but fell apart on its own. Because the plastic piece doesn’t stay in place, the pump doesn’t work at all. I have to hold the metal top down with one hand and press the pump with the other just to get any soap out. It’s not functional and definitely not what I expected from this brand.

    Soap Pump

    Honestly, don't waste your money. I purchased this item twice due to its look, but it wasn't worth it either time. Less than 2 months later, the pump broke.

    Do not buy!

    Item malfunctioned AND it broke before I could even use it. I filled it with soap and the pump didn't work, and then randomly the dispenser part of it broke right off. So now I have this jar filled with soap and it's completely broken.. obviously I'm not bringing it to the store to return it nor am I going to empty and rinse this thing out. So disappointing.

    Great Look, Quality Lacking

    I love this set! Such a classic design. My only complaint with these is longevity. The metal-looking pump parts seem to be coated with a plastic film that started to disintegrate after about a year of use. We also mistakenly ran the cup from the set through the dishwasher which scratched up what must be a yellow coating on the glass (instead of the glass itself being yellow). Very cool visual design though. Regardless of imperfections, I still love having this set in my bathroom.

    Pretty but nonfunctional pump

    I'm on my third purchase of this soap dispenser. I love the glass but the pump continues to break within a few weeks (for this recent purchase, the pump was broken when it arrived.) I should have learned after the first two but I really liked the look. I won't be buying it again, however.

    Pump feels really fragile!

    I used the pump lightly (just in a bathroom) for maybe a month, and it’s held up well but it doesn’t feel like it will continue to hold up. It feels about 5 seconds away from breaking every time I used it, which caused me to not bother after a while. It’s cute enough, could be cuter, but I wanted something cheap and this worked.
