A: I don't see why it wouldn't. I've sprayed on blood, food and even crap on my drawers DAYS before washing. Cleans brilliantly.
submitted byBlownItem - 8 years agoA: I've gotten chocolate, red pop, grass stains, and marker out with using shout I can't speak on the ball point pen but I've gotten pretty awful stains out there should be any reason it wouldn't get it out! Hope this helps

Q: Could you please bring back the Free and Clear version to stores or online? I would be happy with just the refill bottle! It's hard to find since you don't carry it anymore and it's much needed in our allergy home.

A: Excellent question, Bridget. Shout® Triple Acting may not be the product for that stain. If affected clothing was never dried, you may try re-washing affected clothing using 2 new Shout® Color Catcher sheets. The dye may still be loose enough for the sheets to capture and pull it back out. However, we cannot guarantee their effectiveness if large amounts of dye have transferred to the fabric. After spraying and letting it set in for an hour, I ran it through the washer and dryer. The shirt came out looking like it had never been stained! I expected something this low cost to have a strong smell, but it was pleasant. Great product at a great price.

I tried it on pen stain and food stain. It works pretty well after scrubbing and rinsing with water. However, the stain is not completely removed as I can still see a subtle mark. I would also recommend throwing the clothes in the washer after treating with this remover. Recommend as tough stain is hard to get rid of! Plus, this product has a reasonable price and easy to spray.

But, I'm so happy to say that I worried for nothing! I smeared ketchup on a white washcloth before using the instructions on the bottle. I sprayed, scrubbed the spot, and then ran it under hot water. Since my washer doesn't have a hot water hookup, I had to use the kitchen faucet. Not two minutes of rinsing and rubbing the stained cloth together, the ketchup stain was completely gone! And after a round in the washer, you couldn't tell I'd ever smeared it with ketchup. Definitely but this product and keep it on hand! It's a miracle worker, affordable, and it smells so good!

I thought my dress was ruined for sure, but SHOUT Triple Acting Laundry Stain Remover got the greasy stain out without ruining the colors on the dress. I’ve used other stain removers with hit or miss results but SHOUT works better than any others I’ve tried. It gets out grease, dirt, and even grass stains. What I like about this formula is that you can see the results right away. It’s best when used on fresh stains but it will get dried stains out too as long as it hasn’t yet been laundered. It’s a definite clothes saver. No more throwing stained clothes away!

It's not bad, but it's not great. For the most part, it does what it claims. However, it's not as effective as I expected it to be. I had to use a lot of elbow grease to get rid of some light splatters. Overall, it's an acceptable product if you have a lot of time and patience. It will work on light everyday messes, but don't expect it to tackle anything tough without a real struggle. I'll finish the bottle and will probably be repurchasing.
