Shout Advanced Acting Gel, Heavy Duty Laundry Stain Remover is tough on stains, but gentle on your color-fast, machine-washable fabrics. It has 70% more stain-fighting power compared to Shout Triple-Acting. This super powered thick gel is made specifically to tackle stubborn set-in stains like wine, blood, and makeup. Pretreat your tough stains with Shout Advanced stain remover. Safe for all colorfast washables and works in all water temperatures. Simply saturate the soil on your fabric, rub in the gel stain remover to activate it, and allow it to act for 5 minutes. For dried on stains, allow this gel stain treatment to penetrate overnight before washing. After pretreatment, wash in laundry with regular detergent. Shout Advanced gel has the stain-fighting ingredients to break up and remove tough stains so you can live in the moment, and clean up later.

A: What a great question! Shout® Advanced Action Gel can be applied to clothes up to a week before washing. However, we recommend avoiding pre-treating bright, khaki, or fluorescent colors for more than a few minutes prior to washing. I hope this helps! – Megan, SC Johnson Consumer Care

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok first off the sprayer didn’t work. Had to take the sprayer off my original formula shout bottle. It looks and smells just like original formula shout. So I put it to the test. My son lost a tooth and got blood on his shirt. I sprayed the advanced formula shout on one spot and original formula shout on another spot. Let it soak in then wash as usual. Both didn’t remove stain, was very faint but still there. I don’t see any difference from the original formula. New name new package same shout.

I’m not sure that I’d consider it a gel, but maybe it’s more like a gel after using it a few times since the nozzle would be primed more? Easy to use packaging. I am a regular user of Shout products so I was happy to try this.

The scent is very pleasant and had my house and clothes smelling really nice and fresh. The effectiveness is a good 10/10! I had some deodorant stained tops that was barely coming out after normal washes and after using this..wala magic the stains are GONE!

This even works on those dried up glitter slime stains. I just spray, let it sit and then throw it in the wash. After the wash completes the stain is gone ..… vanished away !

I spilled something dark on one of my favorite light pink shirts and I thought that was it. I sprayed some of this on, rubbed it in, and let it sit. It came out of the wash as good as new. It’s a must have, especially with pets and kids.

The pictures posted are the same shirt just in different lighting but the majority of the stains came out. I have another shirt I tried with this product that has a three week old stain I could get out and it came out. It seems like if it's not a greased or oil based stain it gets the stain out better. My husband works in a factory and sometimes the stains he comes home with are hard to get out and this product has gotten a few of those stains out. Better than the generic or basic stain remover. It does help to pretreat the stain for a few minutes to an overnight set to help even more of getting the stains out. The price of the product in my opinion is a little high but it does have the food quality i like having in a stain remover. The scent of the product I don't think is over bearing or powerful. My clothes came out smelling like the detergent and dryer sheets I use.
