Cord is so short
The cord is only 5 feet long, which doesn't give many options for plugging it in. The standart 60W light bulb doesn't provide much light.

The lamp does include a 5-foot cord, which is fairly standard, but we understand that may limit placement in some spaces. As for brightness, the lamp is compatible with LED bulbs, which often provide more light while using less energy — that could be a great option if you’re looking for more illumination. Great lil' Lamp but Gets Hot!
This lil' lamp is the perfect size, & the gray color also matches the color theme of my office setup. Mreover, it gives out just the right amount of semi-dim light, which was what I was looking for @ night (being only a 60w bulb). Good thing it's only a 60w bulb, as it gets a bit hot as it is. That's my only complaint: the top surrounding where the bulb screws into is metal, and it gets hot. May not be ideal for a kid due to this, & hopefully that won't lessen its longevity. Other than that, it may throw off a lil' bit of heat, but I can't feel it for the most part. Just don't touch the metal top if it's been on for a while, as it does get somewhat hot. Something I'll try to remeber, for sure.

Falls over - top heavy
This is a low quality lamp with an unstable base. It falls over easily because it is top heavy. It has a cheap plastic quality. Decided to return. I would only buy this if you need an inexpensive lamp and don’t mind a lower quality item.
