Simple Modern 32 oz Stainless Steel Summit Water Bottle with Straw Lid

I like that it was a pretty good size for me and it holds a lot of water to my liking and stays cold for a long time with ice, without ice it’s still pretty good too! The major thing I did not like about this water bottle is, after filling it up with water, and I pull the straw up, a bunch of water splurges out and leaves PUDDLES of water and making an absolute mess which is super frustrating! I just took this water bottle with me on an AMTRAK bus and when I wanted to drink water and pulled up the straw, so much water kept splurging out causing my pants and shirt to get soaked and getting water all on the bus seats and making a ridiculous mess! This happened 3 times!!! I’m going to have to get a new water bottle now!

Doesn’t keep cold, leaks

This is a great water bottle. It doesn't spill either which my Swell water bottle used to do. I LOVE the straw lid, it's like a camelback but more hygienic and easier to clean. It keeps my water cold and it keeps me hydrated. It's the cheapest water bottle I've owned (bkr, swell, kleenkantee, hydroflax) but arguably the best and cutest. I don't know why the other users are complaining about a chipped bottle. It says in the directions "hand washes the bottle" and "top lid is dishwasher safe". Please READ the directions.

LOVED the color(s)/aesthetic design. I also loved that it was dishwasher safe. It was also great at not spilling and keeping my water cold. But what knocked it down a lot of notches, sadly, was that after one run on the top rack of the dishwasher, the paint started chipping at the top, and was trying to flake into the thermos. I didn’t feel like drinking paint chips, but I’m also not a Karen, so I shrugged it off and gently rinsed it off and out. Unfortunately, the paint continued to chip away in the same spot, as well as in new places. Mind you, and please don’t judge me, I only have ran it through the dishwasher about once a week, otherwise I just rinse it, maybe use a little dish soap with my hands. I didn’t want to cause too much wear and tear too quickly. Despite this mindfulness, and only having it next to me around the house with only older children around, and in and out of my car cup holder on occasion, it just keeps falling apart— paint wise. To sum it all up, decent price, beautiful to look at, calming effect even, but the paint job needs a lot of work. Here are the pictures I have after one month of owning it and 5 runs in the dishwasher.

Every time you flip the top to drink, it spews water all over you. It’s really annoying! It doesn’t keep the water cold like previous bottles I’ve had. Obviously there’s a problem as other reviewers are complaining about the issue.

i love this water bottle! the color is so cute, and my water stays cold forever! it is the perfect size, and my cirkul lid fits on it so i am very pleased with this!!

Great water bottle over all. Of course it’s too big for the drink holder in your car but when it’s sealed tightly and straw is closed, there are no leaks. Keeps water nice and cold for many hours.

Does not keep water cold for very long.... Ice melts quickly

The color, weight and design are great. It is slightly larger than I pictured.

i love this bottle for keeping my water cold, but that’s about it. it doesn’t fit in cup holders so when you’re in the car it’s resting on the seat. only problem is it leaks if it’s not upright. leaks kind of a lot. i couldn’t think of a better term so i used “explodes” but if you change your altitude (road trip or plane ride) take this as a warning to not open the water bottle. i don’t know if it’s the same with hydros & yetis & other bottles, but it’s pretty common this this one spews water from the straw when opened at a higher altitude. it does leak, so maybe the air pressure changes? i’m not sure. but thank god i’ve only ever put water in here because i opened it on a flight and it sprayed everywhere. the poor guy next to me was so kind about it, but it sucked. even just going on a car ride, sometimes it spews all over my lap & it’s so annoying. i’m buying a higher quality water bottle this week & will probably keep this in the cabinet as a last resort. if you don’t travel much & don’t mine it leaking when it tips over, i’m sure you’d like this bottle. it keeps the drink cold!

It does keep drinks cold so it’s perfect for the gym. My only problem is that it does spill a bit when it’s turned on it’s side but other than that it’s a really really good bottle for it’s price!

The actual bottle and the wide variety of lids available are all completely dishwasher safe – but the paint ON the bottle… not so much! The top rack of the dishwasher is fine for an occasional deep clean… but if you don’t want the paint to chip or fade, the best way to clean the bottle is to fill it with hot water, drop in a bottle cleaning tab from SimpleModern or BottleBright, and let it soak. Don’t forget to soak the lid and straw in the same solution, and use the SimpleModern bottle brush and a straw brush to give it all a good scrub! There are also tons of great accessories in tons of great colors – I highly recommend the chug lid and silicone boot!

Okay let me just say WOOW! I fill up my bottle with ice and for 2 whole DAYS it kept it COLD!!! What??? Not even the expensive ones do that shiiiii! I love this ! Loved it too much to be honest this is the 5th one I bought! Have almost every color! At this point I need them to come out with more colors! Lol! Don’t think about it , just buy it! Trust you will need it during the summer, specially out here in a Palmdale, too dry & HOT!

If the lid is twisted all the way, it’s near impossible to use the straw.

I got this water bottle last year in the spring, and this year's spring it is full of dents and scratches. Its insulation is excellent, but if you want it to not dent, it's not a good water bottle. Also, if you are a mermaid and you can't get wet or else you'll transform, it's not good because it leaks from the top air hole by the straw, even when the straw is closed. Overall, it works, but if you want it to look good, please don't purchase this water bottle. When I add stickers, the adhesive sticks really badly on the water bottle, and is very troubling to get off. I would say that if you got this water bottle, be sure that you don't drop it because it will dent and scratch. It is pretty good for the beach because it keeps very cool on hot August days. Overall the design is okay, but it's not my favorite. I prefer a metal band with a soft matte glowy plastic top that matches the bottle color. Mine gets very dirty below the straw, and I use an unused toothbrush to get the grime out because it's very hard to clean. The quality is not very good. I am slightly upset with this design because it dents so much, maybe you should use a stronger metal. On my way to get a HydraPeak.

I love this water bottle!! It’s cute, sturdy, and overall makes me want to drink water. The only cons that I have are; it squirts water out when I flip the straw up to take a drink, the straw lid gets dirty and full of gunk easily, and it’s LOUD when it falls on the floor. Overall though , it’s lasted longer then my HydroFlasks
