Description
Our x-frame hamper is built with heavy-gauge steel bars so it won't buckle, even when packed with dirty clothes. The two-tone grey laundry bag is made from 100% recycled polyester and is machine-washable with a stain- and odor-resistant inner coating. Great solution
For 34 years I have been carrying my whole laundry basket up and down a full flight of stairs once a week. It was not heavy, but I couldn't see over or around it. Now aged 77 I was looking for a safer solution - and found it with this product. Great things: the stand is moveable and not too high or wide in my walk-in closet, the bag is big enough, light in weight, narrow enough to easily carry downstairs, and easy to lift in an out of the base. It also stands by itself on the floor while I remove dirty laundry and somehow, although it is not covered, protects against odor in my closet while dirty clothes are building up inside. This is the solution that I needed.

X-Frame Hamper
It’s aesthetically pleasing. I assumed the hamper material would be a bit more substantial, maybe a bit thicker or perhaps something other than the canvas type material. Perhaps silicone or leather then it would justify the price tag. Being able to personalize it is a nice added touch.

Good material, it doesn't stink on clothes like other materials, the white frame is nice, it's light in weight and very practical in the measurements, but the only thing I would have liked is to be able to choose the color of the bag, because I saw it as if it were a light brown color and in reality it is a gray color

Perfect Size
For the 2 of us. I thought it would be bigger, and I thought about returning it, but truthfully it’s the perfect size for me and my husband. I got tired of other hampers breaking, and figured this would be a great investment into my household chores. It’s sturdy - this thing wont’ break.

A really good, sturdy hamper. Typical of the quality you expect from Simple Human. It’s my go to brand now. I have a kitchen waste bin, dog food storage container and now the hamper. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Great buy
Needed to replace a laundry hamper and figured I'd bite the bullet and purchase this Simplhuman one. Great quality looks nice. Only disappointment was the embroidery for the customization. Asked to have "WASH ME" on it. It was put on but it looks like one word. Other than that love this.

if "sexy" was a hamper
this appears it will last a long time. all of our simplehuman products have! the detachable bag makes transport to the laundry room effortless. a couple caveats: 1) the bottom of the bag should've been flat and square so it has a better chance of standing even with minimal to no clothes inside. 2) while the fabric construction makes for a light bag, if filled up to the top (as ours usually does every week), the bag will bulge and get caught on the frame's sides as your pull the bag off the frame. essentially, the "mouth" of the frame is too small, or construct the bag so it's a firmer and holds it's narrow shape so it can be removed easily from the frame when full.

Receiving hooks are not uniform across product
The receiving hooks and frame are tigher on one side than the other creating the need to push the frame apart while relatching the basket back into place. Doable, as the basket bar needs to be pushed against the x frame to latch, I think it will ruin it's look in addition to being annoying to use. Holds a decent amount of laundry though
