Q: Will this work if the shower spout is at the front instead of the top?

A: The Spout Cover is designed to work with spouts where the water comes out from the bottom. The hole at the top is for accessing the diverter. If the diverter is in front on your faucet, you may not be able to access it.

Q: What is this made out of? PEVA? Is it BPA/BPS/Phthalate free? (There is BPS in more than just polycarbonate plastics, unlike inferred by previous answer.) Is it PVC free? PFAS free?

A: Made from TPE. We do not use materials that are made of BPA, Phthalates or PFAS and we do not intentionally add these chemicals to our products. In addition, this product does not contain PVC or PEVA materials.

I really, really wanted to love this classic piece. First, our toddler is able to pull it off easily. Second, the whale grows disgusting and unsanitary black mold on the inside - it's impossible to clean it off, even using bleach. Avoid.

My 1yo can easily pull it off the tub spout. I like that it’s theoretically adjustable, but our spout is too wide I guess. No drain plug on top. It is very cute and the silicone is stiff enough I think it would fulfill its purpose if the baby would leave it on. I wish it hadn’t been $14!

My little boy loves bath time and can get super excited in the tub, so I worried about him getting hurt in the faucet. This is the absolute best solution! He loves to reach for the whale and the water spouting out and is safe! It’s super easy to put on, stays secure, and is high quality material to protect my babe. Highly recommend, plus it’s cute!

I love the cute design and that it makes the tub spout safer. However if you plan to use the bath as a shower it’s almost impossible to get to the lever at the top through the whale to make a shower

Love the fun animal shape! It doesn’t stay on my water spout well unfortunately. It comes off multiple times per bath for my toddler, easily slips off no matter how tight I try to get it. It’s easy to slip back on. Not necessarily a mindless tool though.
