SKLZ Accelerator Pro Golf Practice Putting Mat - Green

The mat itself is the best part because it doesn’t bunch up. The ball return is ok, and I should have gotten the mirror (which was part of my old putting mat - different brand, no longer made). Needed to replace the old one, returned one because it wouldn’t stay level. This one does.

My wife Susan, bought this for my birthday, great gift. For sure I will know how to putt when our courses open in April. Next challenge is to get to the green in reg, or 1 over..

I received this mat for Christmas and have had it set up since Christmas morning. When I took the mat out, there were some bumps after laying it out so I waited a few hours to see if it would flatten out on my wood floor. The bumps did flatten out but not perfectly. I decided to put something weighted (overnight) where the creases/bumps were and it has helped smooth things out. After a few days, its much much better but not 100% perfect. As far as the functionality, it's a no frills putting mat. There have been a couple of complaints that the ball return is not working properly. My ball would get stuck every once in a while but a second ball would push it down the "Hot Wheels" track. Sometimes the ball would travel the entire length of the return track and sometimes about half way down. That is a minor inconvenience and not a deal breaker. Lefties, sorry, you are out of luck. The return track is probably going to be right at your toes so SKLZ has an opportunity to engineer it to accommodate a left handed player. Other than that, the lines and other reference points have already helped my stroke (I'm a 10 handicap). If I was to give the material a stimpmeter reading, I would probably guess 10ish. To enhance my training, I added an alignment line on my golf balls to help me a good feel for my stroke. The mat lines and alignment area along with the ball line helps me focus on my takeaway and I get immediate feedback on my stroke. The hole on the mat seems very forgiving so I'm not worried about getting the ball in the hole as much as how I get it there.

I just purchased this last month online and i like it after awhile of practicing my putting improved a lot except, when the ball rolls out from the hole and stop in 5-inches mark. so you have to push with your putter if you're standing on 7-inches...

My college-age son just started playing golf, so I thought it would be a nice practice mat. It’s easy for him to set up and store away when finished. It’s good for practicing indoors during the cold weather months. He enjoys a little friendly competition with his friends. Con - The ball return doesn’t work. The chute between the hole and return piece is too narrow, so the ball gets stuck and needs to be pushed through to the return piece. We thought putting more balls might be enough force for the ball return to work, but no, it’s just more balls to push through or retrieve. We’ve tried elevating parts of it, but that doesn’t work either. I don’t understand why that part was designed too small to accommodate a golf ball. Great Mat. I would love to see included or as an accessory an elbow that curves the ball back onto the mat once it rolls down the return track.

I was putting bad and I was desperate so I bought this mat. After a few ten minute sessions, my putting has improved immensely. I’ve posted my last 12 rounds according to handicap system. Six before I received the mat and 6 after. The results speak for themselves.

A gift - once I got the mat unrolled was OK but I am a lefty and the track gets in the way when you try to putt. If you remove the track then you do not get ball return feature.

Rolled out of the box perfectly...layed flat and works great. I discovered early on that I had been taking my putter back too far on short putts.

I love the ball return for easy repetition without have to move my putting stance. I have used other indoor putting greens over the years, but the simple narrow design on this one works great. It fits perfectly into my office to practice putts while on conference calls.

My Accelerator Pro is just what the doctor ordered. It was inexpensive, easy to use and easy to set up and it really helps with my putting stroke. It is great for practicing speed and keeping your putter on line. I love it and recommend it.

Great quality mat that works well. The ball return is my favorite part of the Accelerator Pro. I've had a mat in the past that required walking to the hole and picking up the ball. I get more practice with the ball return. Love it!
