A: A full mattress would be 54" x 75". We recommend a mattress of 11" with a box spring of 9".

This bed set is really nice and looks more expensive than it actually is. The only downside is the dove color has more hints of brown than I had expected. There was a bit of a gap between the headboard and our mattress, even on the lowest rung, so we cut the metal a little more and now it's perfect!

Very sturdy and we are very happy with our purchase. Would recommend to others. Came in 2 separate packages - headboard received first then next day received rails. We got a great price on this bed at the time we purchased it. Love it!!!
