Smashbox Photo Finish Pore-Vanishing Primer - Ulta Beauty

I always used the minimize pores primer and now that it's discontinued, tried this. Doesn't do anything compared to minimize pores primer. So disappointed. Will be on the search for a new primer unfortunately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It's been a while since I've used Smashbox photo finish primer, so I jumped at the chance to give their Pore-Vanishing Primer a go. It still has that silky smooth texture that glides on the skin so easily. I was a little apprehensive about layering it with the rest of my skincare and makeup routine, but I applied it after moisturizer and before foundation and had no issues. My finished look was more refined and had a smoother slime texture look than without using the product. Loved the final look.

I have loved this product for years but when I got my new order, I discovered the formula has been changed. It is no longer a neutral beige matte formula but now a clear liquidy gel. My skin doesn't look nearly as smooth or flawless with this old formula. Please bring back the old color and formula!

The old formula was my favorite for pore minimizing and I have used it for years till I ran out and have to try the new formula. It has very little ability to control oil and it doesn't even or brigthen skin tone like the old version did. A couple hours later being in the park, my face looked greasy and all the pores were laughing out loud… I will be looking for another product while try to finish these 4 tubes I already bought….

I was hopeful that this would work and would work even better than the old one. It did nothing. Didn't help diminish pores at all. Also felt almost chalky.

I'm usually a smash box primer lover. I've used the photo finish minimizing primer for years. Obviously they discontinued that one so I thought I'd try this one. I got to say HUGE disappointment. The only positive is that it goes on smooth but I found that it did nothing like the old one.

I received this as a free promotional gift from influenster. I would maybe buy this primer again. It has no scent and a little goes a long way! I liked the feel on my face and it was easy to apply the makeup after putting this on

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This stuff was just alright. I dont feel it worked as great as advertised, unfortunately. I feel like it worked okay for pores, but I am a but older and it kind of set funky in my deeper lines and made it to where my makeup kind of settled in those lines. I feel it is better for women with younger less line-y skin. I wasn't much of a fan.

Okay guys, I love the original smash box primer however, I just bought this one and OMG, I'm obsessed!!! Guys, even my husband noticed a difference in my makeup. I just did my makeup with the original primer after using their new one the past couple of days and he was like, "are you back to the old makeup?" Lol. Long story short, this is my new staple primer.

It pills on top of several of my moisturizers. And doesn't last as long for me in the heat. (Would probably like it better during the colder months with a light look). I can however tell a difference in my pores. This is good for the price.

The new photo finished. Poor vanishing primer is really that Girl. It leaves your skin, looking poor less, and make sure that your make up stays put throughout the day and night. It has a clear finish, so it won't affect the color of your foundation and won't change the color of your natural, skin tone.

This new formula does not hide my pores whatsoever. I'm devestated because the previous formula was the best I had ever found, but I will be returning this one.

I feel like it doesn't smooth your skin enough and doesn't make much of a difference. I'll pass on this one because it just didn't work for me the way I would have liked it to.

However, I didn't notice a significant difference to my pores. I have large pores on my noses and I was hoping this would minimize them, but it looked them same to me.

Would only recommend if skin is lightly oily. Works great on pours an as a base for make up to go on smoothly.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This primer works so well. It glides on like butter and literally makes your pores vanish before your eyes. After you apply this you are left with a smooth base ready for any makeup application. It's like wearing a filter in real life. The packaging is nice and simple, which I like and it is fragrance free. This also locked in my makeup so well. *chefs kiss*

It did absolutely nothing for my pores or overall makeup application or appearance. I have larger pores and have used products that actually reduce the appearance of them and provide a smoother surface for my foundation, but this was just a watery lotion!
