Smashbox Photo Finish Pore-Vanishing Primer - Ulta Beauty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to sampling this primer because I really liked another Smashbox primer I had tried a while back. This primer is just okay. I feel like it doesn't smooth your skin enough and doesn't make much of a difference. I'll pass on this one because it just didn't work for me the way I would have liked it to.

However, I didn't notice a significant difference to my pores. I have large pores on my noses and I was hoping this would minimize them, but it looked them same to me.

Would only recommend if skin is lightly oily. Works great on pours an as a base for make up to go on smoothly.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This primer works so well. It glides on like butter and literally makes your pores vanish before your eyes. After you apply this you are left with a smooth base ready for any makeup application. It's like wearing a filter in real life. The packaging is nice and simple, which I like and it is fragrance free. This also locked in my makeup so well. *chefs kiss*

It did absolutely nothing for my pores or overall makeup application or appearance. I have larger pores and have used products that actually reduce the appearance of them and provide a smoother surface for my foundation, but this was just a watery lotion!

It applies very smoothly like a moisturizer. I have oily combination skin and this product helps minimize my pores. It helps mattify my face so my makeup on stay on longer without needing to touch up as often with powder. A little does go a long way and you only need a pea size amount. Absolutely love this primer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the texture of this primer. It has a silicone feel and is smooth to apply. It does really minimize the appearance of my pores and makes my face look matte within the initial 1 to 2 hours of wear. I can wear my foundation for around 5 hours total with this primer before it starts breaking down (i have oily skin for reference). However, that's around the usual span of time I can wear my makeup with any other primer. So while I think the blurring and initial mattifying properties of the primer are nice, I wouldn't purchase this primer if you are wanting to extend the longevity of your makeup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product for a few months now and it works amazing! The product makes my skin look so airbrushed before putting on my face base makeup. There is minimal scent for sensitive skin folks. And the price is very good!

I feel there is a better product out there that I have tried to be honest. I like that the packaging is simple and easy to identify the product. No strong scent which is great! Would I buy it again for the price point? Probably not.

On initial application it works well with my under eye concealer and powder and gives that poreless look. Looks flawless! After a few hours it starts to get oily and maximizes the look of the pores which I did not like. I'll continue to test it out with different products because maybe the ones I'm using just don't agree. 🤷🏾‍♀️ overall, I like it. Just not a love…..yet….hopefully 🤭

When it comes to putting it underneath makeup, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes the makeup on top can become patchy. Besides that I enjoy using this product and will continue to do so!

I really like this primer! It's super lightweight and did a good job of smoothing my pores. It's nice and small and I even used it in place of a moisturizer a couple times and was satisfied with the hydration. I'd recommend this product to people looking for a good pore blurring product! And it didn't make me TOO matte.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This has a silicone texture to it. It glides on very easily and makes your skin feel velvety smooth. I put this mostly in my t zone where I have the largest pores. If you like silicone primers, you'll love this.
