Caring deeply about their work, they drop forge each blade from high carbon steel, then hand-temper, grind and finish it. The result is top notch craftsmanship you'll notice. Just what my husband wanted!
I had elsewhere previously bought him a tool called a "Hudson Bay Axe. " He knew enough to recognize it wasn't authentic. Yours IS! He's delighted, which of course pleases me, too,

The beautiful little axe that could.
From the moment I opened the box I could see my axe was well made and well worth the price I paid and more. After wiping it down and removing the stickers. I added a few minutes of sharpening with a good file and the finished with my sharpening stone. Wow! I am very pleased and highly recommend one to anyone interested in buying a quality axe at a very reasonable price.

Could use a better sheath
I really like the quality of the steel and the head proportions, there should be a welt in the sheath and the coating on the handle takes a bit of time to remove. But I’d have no qualms about buying this again.

Love this axe
Love this axe. The fit and finish is top notch. Wood grain is beautiful. I think the dark strip in the handle is especially striking. Perfect size and heft to carry and get the job done.
