Our updated design features a Ti-Ni coated CRYO hardened 5CR15MOV blade that has the corrosion and stain resistant properties of stainless steel along with moderate toughness for good edge retention and ease of sharpening. The glass reinforced nylon handle is textured for a secure grip while being lightweight and strong. The versatile deep carry pocket clip is an ambidextrous design.

Overall it’s decent for the price. The open end of the pocket clip sits way too far proud of the handle and catches your shirt & everything else. It caught something so hard it’s now bent out and I have to remove it to bend it back but don’t have an allen drive small enough for the screws. Aside from that it’s fine for a small utility carry.

Its a great knive but its hard to open very stiff I used some oil but its still stiff & hard to open, but its the right size, it looks good & weight is good you cant beat the price and its an SOG you cant go wrong

The SOG Adventurer LB is the perfect knife for everyday use. The Adventurer is lightweight, and it's a well made knife. Great balance, and fits in my hand awesomely. There's no wobble in the hinge of the blade, the blade opens and closes smoothly. I'm ordering several more for Christmas gifts.

I'm a big fan of SOG and have several of your knives. This one is a good inexpensive knife. However, I do have one complaint. I ordered the "blaze" orange option. The knife I received is not by any standard blaze orange. More of a burnt dark orange color. It looks nothing like the knife pics on your web site. Not a big deal but I would not have purchased it if represented accurately. I intended the knife as an inexpensive back up for my blind bag. I opted to buy another knife that was delivered as advertised.
