A: I initially saw this rug in the store, and the packaging literally says "rug pad recommended."

A: I can only speak for the white, which indicated it was white on the order, and when it came to me it was actually called "dove white" which turned out to be a butter, cream color. It was not white. When I put my white throw pillows against it it looked yellow. So if you don't mind that, it's a nice rug.
