Q: Is this rug soft enough for a nursery?

A: Yes, definitely! It's very soft but I also definitely recommend airing it out and even maybe sanitizing it somehow if possible.

Q: Can you use your vacuum on this rug? Some shag rugs will make your vacuum stop because the fibers are too long.

submitted byErin f - 7 years agoA: I was not able to vacuum the rug. And I have a really nice vacuum. I wasn't even able to use my upholstery attachment to vacuum it. I have no idea how one would get this rug clean except by hand.
submitted byelizabeth - 7 years agoA: No! I tried my Dyson DC 14 on it, both with the brush and without, and it wouldn't move. Borrowed my neighbor's DC 25, thought maybe the larger size would help. Still a no go, so back to the store it goes!

Q: Are the colors what they appear in the photographs? We're looking for dark gray and I see one comment says it's light / silver. What do you all think who've ordered the gray? Thans!

A: I can only speak for the white, which indicated it was white on the order, and when it came to me it was actually called "dove white" which turned out to be a butter, cream color. It was not white. When I put my white throw pillows against it it looked yellow. So if you don't mind that, it's a nice rug.

A: I completely disagree. Though to some it may seem slight, it really is more of a "butter" color. I bought it thinking it was white and it completely clashed with my decor and I couldn't even keep it. I was quite disappointed.

Q: How do you recommend cleaning the rug? I vacuum it but wonder if I can use any type of cleaner on it just to upkeep it? I heard baking soda is a good rug cleaner but I don't want to ruin it! Off white

I've had this rug less than a year and it's already matted. It looks dirty even after I just vacuum because of the matting. Just got rid of it. Really a bummer for expensive it is. Not to mentioned it's so hard to vacuum

Doesn't hold up well at all. We should have returned it but none of our cars could fit the rug to bring it back to the store. It became matted and gross within maybe 6 months of use? It sheds like crazy even after having it for over a year. We spent too much on something that needs to be thrown away and replaced after only a year of use.

Super thick and soft. Using it as a play rug under my son’s train table. But being so high pile there are longer strands that come loose, and it’s really hard to push the vacuum on it bc of the high pile. Hoping it lasts.

This rug felt great in the store and then within a couple months it was matted down and dirty/discolored. It can’t be vacuumed or spot cleaned properly so it is not worth it.

The rug has only been used for 5 months in a bedroom and it has gone flat even with frequent vacuuming. So disappointed, it was exceptionally soft, but the pile has completely flattened and I now have to replace it. I would not have expected to have to replace it this soon.

This is the second rug I bought. I put them in my sons room and my older son loved it so much he wouldn’t leave his little brothers room. So I bought a second one. It’s very soft a changed the whole look of the room. Loved this!

We had this rug for 2 and half years and loved it. We had it in our family room. We have 2 meduim sized dogs who play alot and this is basically their wrestling ring. We loved it so much we just bought another one. It was still in great shape it's just it began to have a dog smell. I had no issues vacuuming once or twice a week with my Oreck vaccum. I definitely recommend this rug.

This rug started out great! It was soft and plush and looked fantastic. Within 3 months it was matted and looked terrible!! I tried to bring the pile back with a carpet brush but it didn't help. I ended up throwing it away because at that point Target would not take it back. I would not recommend this carpet.

Please be mindful all the reviews on here are after first getting this rug. At first this rug is great, super soft and pretty. This all goes downhill very quickly, this rug has a bit of a longer shag which makes it very difficult to vacuum. The rug itself will pull and you will have longer rug fibers sticking out and there will still be leftover debris in the rug - I usually have to pick things out by hand. I have had this a total of 3 months and it already looks destroyed. The high traffic areas are matted with no hope of returning to its initial glory. This rug replaced one I got a building 19 10 or so years ago and I’m sorry to say I would rather have the rug I threw away over this.
