At the time of buying this camera .. it's been out for a while but to me it's great value for money now. The A7C is great for general photography use and it's compact size with a full sensor is exactly what I was looking for.

Bought this camera with the 28/60 kit lens as an upgrade from my old A7ii with 3 x prime lenses. Bought primary due to size and weight etc . Have found it to be fantastic for my street photography. Does everything that is required of it. Lens is super sharp when used correctly and the camera and lens combo produces excellent images. Cannot believe some reviews call this a " beginner" camera. Must be due to the "lack" of buttons on the rear of the camera ? Many of these so called reviewers appear to have money to burn and are obsessed with everyone rushing out to buy the latest A9 or A1 with a few GM lenses. Clearly not in the real world. Would recommend this camera and lens to any street photographer.

Bought the A7c for 2 reasons, image quality and lighter kit which has proved to been the right choice as both these requirements have bern met and highly recommend to anyone looking for similar....

I wanted a walkabout camera and I'm really enjoying the Sony A7C for feel and quality My only gripe is the usual SONY cash back offer why not just do what other camera companies do and discount it?

Bought a month ago, i v been wanting it for ages and now that i have it couldn't be more happier!!

I bought this camera in the first instance, for some photos of my son's wedding. Not official photos, but just family ones. The wedding is coming up soon and so I have been practising and watching youtube clips for settings and tips. I have to say that I'm super delighted with the camera's quality & durability. My two previous cameras lasted for about a year and then fell to bits!

I have only had the camera for couple of weeks but I thoroughly enjoyed using it. In my view the dynamic range of the sensor is superior to that of A7 IV, which I use and love. Unlike most A7C user's views, I actually like the smaller magnification of the viewfinder, because I ware glasses when using the cameras. Colours of the photographs is outstanding. The photographs taken at the Tate Modern gallery were taken with Sony EF 40/2.5 and the photographs taken outside were taken with Loxia lenses 35mm and 50mm. This is one of the most successful, of my many camera purchases during the past forty years.

Brought a few weeks ago after my daughter got an a6400. I have now sold al my Fuji equipment and am Sony all the way. Super quick, amazing images, simple to use, I’m fully converted

Light, compact, excellent. So glad I purchased. Looking forward to FE 20-70mm f4 lens too!

I have other A7 series cameras and purchased this as a 'full frame compact'. Fitted with the Sony 40mm/f2.5 lens (& a couple of small primes), this makes a great 'City/Street' outfit - unobtrusive, (fairly) lightweight and able to fit in a small shoulder bag. Also has a much improved battery life via the FZ-100 battery (only take a couple of spares - they are heavy!). I wouldn't use this camera with long, heavy zooms/telephotos - it's much better balanced with small primes and lightweight zooms. Only two issues are the lack of a built-in flash (useful for fill-in/backlit) and the small viewfinder, hence the four star rating. Recommended.

I bought this camera with 28-60mm kit lens and 35mm F1.8 sony lens together 2 weeks ago and my experience has been wonderful. I travel a lot and mainly use my cameras during my travels so I cannot carry a lot of gear with me. This camera is very lightweight and as in the name, compact. The silver finish looks amazing, very stylish!

Love it! some new features I notice coming from A7iii. AF touch tracking (WOW) sticks to focus point like glue .... colour science seems better too,I think? ( im just a happy hobbiest)

I am very pleased with the definition and colours of images taken with this camera. In the past I have mainly used medium format manual film cameras and relied on my phone for regular snaps. This is a new and exciting experience for me. So light and handy and lots of options to learn. The only criticising I have so far is that the usb charging adapter packed with the camera does not provide sufficient power to charge the camera or run it if turned on. Other wall plugs I have work so why would Sony send out a part that is not fit for use. I am waiting for the retailer to find a solution? Otherwise I am happy.

So happy I upgraded. Awesome camera in such a small profile
