Stopped working after 9 months. Won't take a charge when plugged into a laptop. This is the second time I've purchased this product and both times they stopped working in less than two years. Poor quality and not built to last.

This is my 2nd purchase. I bought my 1st one in Japan which worked like a treat for at least 5 or 6 years. If there is anything I would Sony to improve is the sound. Don't get me wrong! It's good but it could be a bit more punchy. I guess this is a personal preference but to me, it's a little flat. If the base and the treble were slightly more enhanced, I'd be extremely happy. And the last but not the least, please do not discontinue this. I'd be utterly and truly gutted.

This is the second unit I bought, and like the 1st one It broke in less than a year of use. The headphones no longer charge and can be connected to the PC.

1st when swimming the earbud tips come off and get lodged in my ear. Yes, I tried different sizes with the same result. 2nd the on off button doesn't always cooperate. 3rd housing broke after 4 months. The sound is ok and the battery life is ok also.

I bought this item a year ago and right when the warranty expired play button stopped working. Support says to buy a new one as cost for repair are higher. Never buy again

I swim for 30 mins in a swimming pool around 4 times a week (only on the surface). I've bought 4 pairs of NW-WS413 over the past 7 years as they are easy to connect to a PC and reasonably easy to use. MP3 Podcasts are just about loud enough provided you boost the levels on a PC before loading. I bought this pair in June 2023, to replace my old pair when they failed - which they tend to after a couple of years. When the old pair failed in January 2024, I started using the new pair. Unfortunately this new pair failed within 3 months . They will not charge properly, despite cleaning contact on the new charge cradle - or using the cradle that charged the previous pair. Hopefully Sony will replace them.

I had 2 pairs of these in 8 years between 2014 and 2022. Since buying a new set in 2022 I am now on my 4th set as the previous 3 had malfunctioned within months of buying. It’s a fantastic product when it works and I swim most days using them but it would appear they are not made as good as they were around 2014

I've found it difficult to contact Sony so I'm hoping someone will get in touch when they see this review, I kept going round in circles on the website. This is the third set of these earphones I've owned. The previous 2 lasted on average about 3 years each which I thought was not too bad. The current ones started giving me problems before Christmas, barely 2 months after I bought them. The track forward and back buttons stopped working and the volume control worked intermittently. The only 2 buttons that work as they should are the power on/off and the play/stop button. Over the last couple of weeks another problem has started, they are no longer holding a charge. If I want to use them I need to remember and charge them immediately prior to me going for my walk otherwise they will only stay on for 5 or10 minutes. As I go for a walk for at least an hour every day this is not acceptable and I need these to be repaired or replaced. The website wants me to troubleshoot the problems and fix them myself, which isn't possible.

This product provides just what I was hoping for. The controls are easy to use & positive & the earphones stay in my ears all the time while I am swimming. It is a bit of phaff to dab, shake & dry all the bits as per the instructions.

I got this MP3 player with my vouchers issued by my company for a long service award. I swim regularly, paddle board , kayak,hike and I love music, what better way to be able to do all the things I love most whilst listening to the music I love most. The only thing I have to try and remember is not to suddenly burst into song ! 😂 Best thing my company ever did for me !

I love the freedom of movement these earphones give me for jogging and cycling, but, the response time of the earphones to change tracks is slow and sometimes stalls. Not much base on this which is a shame. Plastic quality looks nasty like a car dashboard, hard and brittle.
