Don’t buy. I’ve had these headphones for some time now and when putting them on the plastic between the head piece and left earphone snapped suddenly. They have really good sound quality. I have been extremely careful with them and for them to break from everyday use is upsetting, especially when this is a commonly known issue they refuse to fix.

I tend to get overwhelmed in public. Lots of conflicting noises make me anxious and can send me into a meltdown if I’m not prepared. These noise cancelling headphones allow me to accomplish my day to day tasks like grocery shopping. I have had them for over a year now and it has completely changed my life and made things so much easier for me.

Nothing but constant issues since I bought them and even after having them replaced. The notorious hinge issue finally happened to me as well. I wish I never purchased them and they are definitely overrated.

I didn’t like the feeling of the strap over the top. I felt like the band should be wider perhaps. The sound quality is unparalleled however the noise cancellation interferes with my balance and makes me feel dizzy.

Had these for a year and a half, and the right ear has suddenly stopped playing sound. The touch gestures still work but no sound. Generally the headphones have been good, although the build is definitely flimsy. Also the headband can be uncomfortable after long use

clearly, the hinges are a design fault. something sony must have been absolutely aware of even before launching this product. instead, through the magic of corporate gaslighting, suddenly at least 60% of their customer base owning this product, out of the blue, decided to use this headset to hammer nails into walls. this experience does not, in the least fill me with confidence to buy anything sony ever again.

Fantastic headphones with great features. But audio is slightly lacking compared to some of its competitors. The Airpod max, the Senheisser and Bose all have the edge over Sony on pure sound quality. Build quality is also just a tad behind, with weak hinges and flaking plastic.

I bought these as an upgrade for my XM4 headphones which were really good. These are definitely a step forward in both noise cancellation and quality of sound. The ear pads are also more comfortable.
