Speck Apple iPhone 14 Pro Presidio 2 Pro Case with MagSafe - Charcoal

I bought this case 3 months ago and have since completely shattered my phone after dropping it lightly. I had an Otterbox for 2 years and dropped it many times and never had any problems. I would advise anyone to buy better protection for their phone!

Case provides excellent protection for my iPhone 14. That’s good, because the smooth surface makes it extremely slippery, causing me to drop my phone a handful of times. It’s less slippery now that I’ve had it for a while (a couple of months) but it’s still not as secure to hold as my old Apple-brand silicon case.

This case is solid and I have used Speck for a long time. For the price, I could not have been more happy.

Bought this to replace my Husband’s leather Apple phone case. This was a much better value and is already holding up much better. He also likes how easily it slides in/out of his pocket.

Like the other review said. Phone fell a short distance out of my hand and the whole back shattered. I’ve been an Otterbox user for life and decided to switch it up for once, biggest mistake i’ve ever made.

It’s a really nice looking case, and it appears to offer pretty good protection; but it’s really slippery for it to be a silicone case.

Phone fell out of pocket two feet and shattered the back in this case.

It’s a very good case, BUT if you have an iPhone 14 pro, don’t rely on your case and get AppleCare+ or a very good insurance. It’s absolutely ridiculous that the 14Pros shatter SO easily but I broke the Apple glass in an otter box, and then broke a 3rd party glass in this one. If you don’t have AppleCare+ and shatter the back glass, take your phone to the Apple Store and have them run diagnostics anyway. I suspect battery swelling (the battery eventually swelled so much that the front display screen peeled away) started very early and put enough pressure on the back glass that it cased the lip of the camera protector to actually cause the shattering. Instead of paying Apple a gross $500 to fix, I stupidly went third party first without taking it to the Apple Store at all. I had had some stability problems already but figured they wouldn’t do anything since I have broken it so I didn’t bother, took a (clearly badly) calculated risk to void the warranty by repairing third party for $150. Fast forward six months and the battery swelling started giving me massive stability issues and on taking it in, they wouldn’t even cover the battery because the warranty was voided. Found out after the swelling battery that my Verizon plan actually covered it with asurion, which replaced both screen and battery for free (asurion was amazing and I highly recommend!). Literally two days later and in this case, I dropped it from 14 inches and it shattered the back glass of the third party case. Asurion is having a hard time getting in back glass so they replaced the phone outright. I was REALLY lucky and happened to get a phone that still had 26 days left where I could get AppleCare+, but not all of them have that luxury. Bear in mind that when/if asurion starts replacing the back glass rather than the phone, it will void your warranty and if you have third party glass, Apple will give you $0 for a trade in and at least Verizon said they’d only offer market value which was like $100 (this is the only perk of AppleCare+ over asurion and ultimately why I went with it). Knocked the case a star because of the glass breaking on the 3rd party glass from such a low height, but honestly it’s probably because there was so much pressure from the swollen battery and having it get opened and closed with the repair that it had probably already gotten weaker.

After having tried the official Apple Leather case, one of the things I wish this case had was metal buttons. They add to the premium feel of the case. If I could change anything, I'd add metal buttons on the sides. That's it. Otherwise, this case is perfect and I love it. Super protective, and good looking too! It works well with a tempered glass screen protector and has an overall slim profile. MagSafe magnets are strong enough, so everything checks out.

I don't ever understand why I buy any other brand of case. When I do I'm always disappointed. Speck by far makes the best cases!

This case is awesome‚.EXCEPT they tapered the bottom portion of camera lense lip that protects lenses on iphone 14 pro leaving quarter of the bottom lense totally expose, the mous case tapers same way but it covers the bottom lense before it tapers, Speck needs to fix on iphone 14 case

Case fits well, the soft-touch coating feels nice, I'd definitely recommend this case to anybody.

I rotate 2 of these cases just to keep them feeling fresh in my hand‚ gotta love em!

Installation is a breeze. The charge port hole, speaker holes, and side toggle button hole collect dust, so I kinda wish the case was easier to remove from the phone, but I guess that means the phone is well protected, right? Side buttons work great. I bought a separate camera lens protector (Tech Armor), and the Speck case fits perfectly around the glass protector. There's also enough room on the screen for a glass screen protector. Overall quite happy and will definitely purchase Speck cases in the future.

I originally ordered a case from a very well known company, but when it came in it was made of cheap plastic and felt stiff and clumsy in my hands. I checked my old phone case and saw it was a Speck. It had kept my phone safe from every drop, throw, and even a couple treadmill launches, so I instantly bought one for my new phone. My favorite part is the way it feels in my hands. The case is soft to the touch and has a little bit of squishiness that adds a certain comfort, but it's super durable. I never worry about being gentle with it. My only regret is even bothering to try a different case before this one.

The purchase of the Presidio 2 could not have been easier and more satisfying. The shipment to my home (across the country) was quick and seamless. The item, thus far meets or exceeds my expectations.

I used to have the Sport slick case since the 11 case it was the Presidio 2 which is very similar and it saved me so many times. Plenty of times others or kids has dropped my phone it was good and only the case had all its marks and scratches. I recommend this case.
