  • A: Hi there, this product is intended to to be a tool to build confidence for a child already familiar with the water who is learning to swim. This will not give enough buoyance to float alone, I would recommend looking at the Speedo life jackets on the site for a full floatation device and if looking for a tool to use while learning to swim this swim vest is a great option!

Safe and Comfortable!

Like this alot for our 4/5YO

I like that this isn’t as in her face as a puddle jumper is. I also like that it’s less bouyant than the puddle jumper but enough to help her learn to swim without being the huge coast guard approved one.

Nice alternative to swimmies

This was the only vest I could find for my 6 year old who had not yet been in the water that would assist her rather than it being a life vest that makes them flip to the front or back. She weighs too much for floaties and this vest work for her at 52lbs. We gave it a try for the first time today. It does seem to do as it says by assisting without forcing her to flip one way or the other. The one thing I did not like is how the strap clips between the legs. It is very awkward and uncomfortable even with it being loose.

Perfect!!

This fits my toddler perfectly and works so well!! She’s 2 years old, 45 lbs, size 5/6T (XS) and we bought the L/XL. She swims so well in this (with our help of course!) I did so much research on what would be the safest for her to learn to swim in and finally settled on a speedo life vest. They looked like they were going to be the most comfortable, were affordable, and had better safety ratings. Very happy with this purchase!!
