Spenco Gel Heel Cups

Comfortable and they work. The insert supports my leg/heel which is slightly shorter due to a surgery.

I got a pair of these Spenco Gel Heel Cups at my podiatrist after receiving a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis in my right heel a few weeks after an impact injury. The lightweight Merrell boots I had to start wearing after my Vasque boots were discontinued do not have as much energy absorption in the heel, something that concerned me when I bought them. This product has allowed me to begin to recover, after making no progress for weeks. I am considering getting some Birkenstock EVA sandals to wear in the shower, along with these gel heel cups.

I don't see how people use these. I have to take my foot all the way out of my shoe to put them back in the right place about every 2 minutes. They just will not stay in place when I am walking. They scoot forward and also from side to side or begin to rotate. I intend to return them.

I have multiple pair of these heel cups and glad to see them available again. I think they reduce the impact of walking and running on my aging joints. I recommend them to many friends.

Comfortable. Easy to insert. Stays in place. Nice thinness at the arch transition to nothing. Another company’s lift was uncomfortable in that area. I saw in your pictures you had some lifts without the back cupping. If they would have been in stock, I’d have purchased them instead since I have to cut that off to use in my shoe.

Relieves a lot of pressure on my partially torn Achilles.

I was very athletic my whole life and now that I'm older my heel pads are worn down. I absolutely put these pads in every single pair of foot wear that I own, from high heels to hiking boots. I do wish this would develop a thicker pair. In many of my shoes I put two into one heel to boost the thickness. Really like that I can wash the gel heel cups too.

The heel cups greatly relieved the pressure off my heels.

Works well for my child with sever’s. He is pleased.

My 11 year old son is very tall for his age. As a result he has been diagnosed with Sever’s disease. If you don’t know what Sever’s disease is, it is like plantar fasciitis. But the root cause is rapid growth in bones whereas the tissue surrounding can’t catch up. The end result is excruciating heel pain. It is an overuse injury, so the more you use it the more it gets aggravated, so massage and other therapies sometimes just make it worse. We do dynamic stretching, percussion therapy, e-stim, massage therapy, static stretching, vibration you name it we’ve tried it. We have compression sleeves, Icing boots etc. He is a high-level soccer player, but because of this injury he has been sidelined many games, and often after he plays one intense day he can’t walk for the following 2 to 3 days. I read an article about the Spenco gel cups and this incredibly long story is to simply tell you that they work! He still is in a bit of pain but not severe. We have inserted them in everyone of his casual shoes and his cleats. I can’t thank Spenco enough for creating this amazing product.
