A: Yes. Although it won't be able to keep up with heavy accumulation, spreading it before winter weather can help prevent build up of snow and ice.

A: All ice melt products, along with the freeze and thaw cycle, can damage concrete. To minimize surface damage, use only enough ice melt to loosen snow or ice, and then promptly remove slush and ice from concrete surfaces.

A: Yes, it's made with magnesium chloride and calcium magnesium acetate, which is less likely to cause irritation to skin/paws than sodium chloride, the ingredient most often used in ice melts. While less irritating than conventional ice melt products, care should be taken to ensure it is not ingested and it's always a good idea to wipe your pets paws to be extra safe

The product is wonderful. the packaging for shipping was awful. The top fell off and the entire ice melt on one of the containers was all over in the box. All the items were covered with the ice melt. I am a regular Target shopper. This was the first time my packages arrived in a bad manner. I was just disappointed with the packaging. I still love Target!

Didn't melt anything
I wanted pet safe for my dog, but this didn’t melt ANYTHING. Waste of $15 and I won’t buy this again. It didn’t even melt tiny ice spots on my driveway.
