Poorly packaged
The contents of the jug was spilled inside the box. Most products I have ordered have had the lid taped shut. It really would have made a difference. 5 star product, with one star packaging. Pickup in store when available!

Ice Melt Shipping Problem
After a delivery delay, package arrived wrapped in plastic bag. When I opened container, it was 1/2 full which I assume means it spilled at some point and someone decided to wrap it as is and forward it. Have not had a chance to use it, so not sure if it was worth keeping.

Do not purchase this ice melt. This stuff has killed my patio concrete. The concrete is now flaking and chipping away and has pits. Will have to get the patio refinished now.

We bought 4 containers, which are plastic. They were put in two plastic bags and shipped in a box. There wasn’t anything to protect the containers during shipping. The containers broke and our ice melt is now inside the plastic bags with the damaged plastic containers. It’s a mess. Disappointed with how it was packaged and shipped.

Open containers during shipping
These containers were shipped to me and whoever packed them didn't bother to tape the lids shut. So there was ice melt all over the box, and spilled out when I brought the box inside. This is why I stopped placing orders to be shipped. The packaging is always terrible

Very Poor Packaging.
It's not the item itself, but the packaging and how it arrived. Out of the four that I ordered, only two were intact. One was completely open (the lid was off) and the contents had entirely spilled into the box. Another had a loose lid that fell off when I lifted it out of the container. The other two had lids that were still on, and sealed with a strip of tape. The box is flimsy and now filled with loose ice melt. I suppose I can still use it, but I expected intact containers with the ice melt sealed inside. I now have a flimsy box filled with $15 worth of loose ice melt. The containers are sturdy, but the lids (for two of them) were not screwed on tightly, if at all. (The 'would I recommend this item,' below, has a bad rating only because of the packaging; I haven't actually used the Ice Melt, but I'm assuming it will work properly.)
