A: The rods alone are 36-66" or 66-120". The finial knobs add an additional 2-3" to each end.

This curtain rod is so beautiful. Out of the 40-odd windows in the house, this is my favorite curtain rod purchase by far—and I’ve purchased so. many. curtain rods. I wanted something affordable but still sturdy enough to handle the heavy velvet curtains in our bedroom. I also had a particular style in mind, and this fit the bill. Mounting is so easy and straightforward, and the result is gorgeous. I purchased one as a test of the product, but now I will purchase more to finish the bedroom.

The curtain rod itself is actually gorgeous. The problem lies in the fact that the curtain brackets are full loops, which means that it's going to be an absolute b-word to take the rod out of the brackets in order to wash the curtains, especially if you hang it in a small space where you can't just thread the rod through all the way through without bumping a perpendicular wall. I'm keeping it because I like it, but wow. Who decided that this was the right way to make a curtain bracket? Props for the gold being not yellow, I guess.

Color flaw with extender

The middle extender is a totally different color. Now that I got it all installed you can see the middle park is gold compared to the rest of it which is more brassy. What an absolute bummer! So much work and this is how it turns out. The brass and look of it is pretty but it’s such a big manufacture flaw!

I was so excited to receive these curtain rods as I haven’t seen anything like them in the past. I am highly disappointed of the two toned rod that no one is speaking about this wasn’t just an oops I ordered two of them and they’re both the same. inaccurate description and extremely annoying.

Krista: The Metal Knob curtain rod is not designed to have a two-tone finish on the rod. Our strict Quality Control inspections reduce quality issues like these, but sometimes a few slip through. It's designed so you MUST slide the curtains and hardware on the bar before hanging. So, you need two people with two ladders because you're carrying the full weight (and length) while attempting to hold up and align and screw in, etc. Also the screws become stripped immediately, and the holes are right underneath the tightener, making it impossibe to screw in one-handed (with electric). SO FRUSTRATING. I ended up jamming them between the window frame and wall after about 45 minutes of failed attempts. Too much hassle for $36.

wd: We are sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced installing the Stamped Metal curtain rod. We suggest next time you add curtains, that the rod be placed In the brackets, with one finial attached to one end of rod. Supported by the center bracket, the rod end without finial can be telescoped inward to add curtains, then extended back into the end bracket and the finial reattached. These steps would be repeated for the other side of the rod. Regarding the screws, there are "keyholes" at the top of each bracket, which allow brackets to be slipped over screw heads before they are fully tightened in place.
