Description
When a person stands from the typical recliner, it tilts forward, dropping the arms and seat of an already low chair by 3-4 inches. Simply raising the chair by 5 or 6 inches makes it dangerously unstable. Stander has developed a safe and easy solution. When Recliner Risers are installed, they raise a chair nearly 2 inches and limit the forward tilt allowing an additional 3-4 inches of lift. The extra support gives a weakened person a biomechanical advantage and enables them to stand on their own. Recliner Risers attached quickly and easily to the wooden base of your favorite recliner.

Plastic. NOT WOOD.
These risers work. They do what they advertise to do. My husband is happy with them, however, we are unsure how long they will last. They are plastic, not wood. The specifications clearly state; “Material: Wood”. It is disappointing that the product is not what the specifications state.

Works great, but you need to have someone to install for a senior
It works fine for my recliner, but when you buy these raiisers, you should know that they are only a part from what will raise your recliner. You need to have a person who will come with 2 pieces of wood with lengs a little longer than distance of your recliner feet which will raise with at least 6 cm. your recliner. Hopefully , i had it. But before reading instructions from the package, I didn't know
