Q: Hi Can I use this tray with a standard chair?

A: Hello, the Assist-A-Tray will fit under any standard chair with feet. Because the Assist-A-Tray sits underneath the chair feet, please measure the distance between the front and rear feet to ensure that it is between 20 and 36 inches deep. Hope this helps! Q: Is the handle supposed to move forward when you use it to get up? It bends forward at the base which I'm not a fan of. Not sure if this is supposed to do this or I got a faulty one.

Depending on various factors, such as the amount of weight applied, there may be slight movement front to back. To ensure optimal safety and performance, we recommend checking that the Assist-A-Tray was assembled correctly, including ensuring that bolt B is securely fastened into the base to hold the handle upright. Additionally, please verify that the Slider Bushing is firmly secured into the upright arm and that the base pads are positioned squarely underneath your furniture legs. Q: Can the Stander Assist Tray be used with a recliner lift chair? It lifts in the back and tilts forward to help my mom get up from the chair.

Before purchasing, you will want to ensure that your type of lift chair has a base that can sit on both the front and back pads of the Assist-A-Tray. Nearly perfect
This is a very sturdy tray that will definitely enhance the safety for my 99 yr old mother. It is very easy to build and install by one able-bodied person. I only wish it could extend forward a little more. The vertical bar blocks her lift chair's arm rest when she fully extends the chair upwards to get out. To avoid this, I needed to place front of the tray stand slightly further away sideways from the lift chair. It is still under the front chair leg, but not quite as close to the base's central bar as I would like and so is a little wobbly. It still works well enough, however, so we will keep using it.

Everyone else in the family wants one of these.
Bought one for my senior Dad, now everyone else in the family now wants one of these trays. Sturdy, easy to put together, and looks nice. That handle is a great help because I knew dad would be grabbing the tray to stand up and sit down. Even though the advertisement pictures show a specific kind of armchair, we were able to find a video online that showed how to use it with a recliner. It worked out great.

sturdy and easy set up
Simple to set up and very sturdy. The table rotation is stiff and a bit squeaky - it does make it harder to spin the platform once in position. It will be good for teleworking from home. I like that it spins to different sides and will be helpful to serve different seating areas.

Awesome device
I just bit this for my wife’s grandpa who is struggling recovering from hip surgery and it’s a lifesaver, it’s great and solid utilizing the weight of the chair and the device to have something solid to grab onto to get yourself up and down, the tray is super helpful and very adjustable to every position and height, great invention and product.

Almost Great Tray Systen
I bought this tray system after searching through about all the tray systems that I could find. The web site is great and generally the product is great. Unfortunately, one of the bolts designed to hold on the tray assembly was cross threaded. The result is that I have been unable to complete the assembly attachment correctly. The second bolt will not go all the way in. While I have it together sort of the problem keeps the tray from being level. I expect that when this problem is fixed I will have a perfect tray system.

i bought this for my 89 year old Mom and it is amazing. it is strong and sturdy unlike the TV tray she was using by her chair. it gives her more room and it swings in and out from her chair to use for any activity. the grab handle is very helpful for getting up and supporting her. i would like to get one for myself.
