Poor Customer Service
I don't normally write negative reviews when it's not the item that deserves few stars, but it seems like the only way to let Target know that they failed fans. I preordered from Target because it said it would come with a steelbook. It came days late when it was released 3 days early and it had no steelbook. I called Target and couldn't get the person I was talking to to understand what I was saying. Eventually I was transfered to a manager who was very helpful. He sent the information to whomever it is that handles that stuff. Their response: it was only for in store purchases. That is NOT what their website said when I ordered. And now it's way too late for me to be able to try and get it that way if that's even accurate. I am extremely disappointed in how Target handled this. I don't know if they ran out or what, but being dishonest and disorganized about a response is not the way to handle it. I will not be preordering games from Target in the future.

Steelbook Bait and Switch
Pre-ordered the game expecting the steelbook. The game arrived weeks late and no steelbook as Target promised. Now I wish I would have screenshotted the item page so I could more solidly complain against Target’s bait and switch. If I want the steelbook to go with the game I’ll be forced to look on eBay.

Not worth the price
Preordered game, didn’t arrive on time. arrived yesterday 9/8 with no steel book and no preorder bonus codes. I picked up a copy in store with the intention of returning the one I preordered. Can’t do that either because it was an open copy of the game.

Missing steel book
The game is fine. But the whole reason I preordered from target was the steel book, and it’s missing from my order which was also delayed and did not arrive until 10 days after release. I consider this to be false advertising and I really hope they read this and at the very least make it right by sending the steel book. If not then it’s false advertisement!

MISSING STEELBOOK
I pre-ordered this game on Target simply for the steelbook. It arrives three days late (so much for the three day early access). I open the package to find that my steelbook is missing... call Target and the employee proceeds to tell me that the pre-order sale was months ago and I preordered only six days before the release. I had to calm myself to not explode with this guy trying to explain how pre-ordering video games work. Ask to speak to the supervisor and get put on hold for 23 minutes (still waiting as I type). I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Learned my lesson about pre-ordering through these guys!!!

Targets Preorders are a Scam
After preordering this item from target specifically to get the preorder bonus, the day it was supposed to ship (expedited), I got an email telling me it was backordered and would not arrive for a couple weeks. Target then scrubbed all mentions of the preorder bonus from the store page. When I talked to target support, they told me the preorder bonus is for Target Circle members only and recommend I sign up for future bonuses.

So far so good!
I’m only about an hour in but so far I could not be happier. Loved Avatar and I think I will love this just as much. No regrets getting the gold edition. Going to buy the dlcs anyway.

Preorder the gold edition hoping to be playing today because you get it 3 days early instead. I be getting my copy in 14 days. Never Preorder the expensive version ever again. It says you get it 3 days early it's lies

Why order from Target a 3 day early access game if it won’t even ship out until 5 days after release?
