I purchased the caramel and vanilla flavors and both have an overpowering artificial flavor. They smell like cheap coffee creamer and leave a weird hint of flavor. Unfortunately, it doesn’t even taste like espresso, more like gas station coffee.

The original pods have become my favorite. When I saw these flavored espresso odd I thought they would be better, but I didn’t like the after taste or flavoring they use for these. It is extremely overpowering. I will stick to the original Starbucks blonde double espresso pods.

Cold coffee hits the spot this time of year, and I actually liked this one just the way it is. My wife and daughter added a little sugar to theirs, but for me, it was great straight out of the box. We blew through it pretty fast. Looking forward to seeing what Starbucks and Nespresso come up with next.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this as I was finally reunited with my Nespresso Vertuo machine! Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the flavor. The caramel tasted fake and I would much rather just buy caramel drizzle and use that to flavor my coffee. I think it is awesome though that they are coming out with more flavors but my go to has always been the blonde espresso shots.
