Sold coffee that was tampered with
Target sent me this item and it was full of black beans- not coffee beans. It was sealed, but apparently a previous customer tampered with the product. My husband filled his new Breville with the beans not realizing the package had been tampered with. The machine made a nasty sound. He had to vacuum all the beans out and purchase his morning coffees from Starbucks... I reached out to Target in person at a store, online, and tried contacting corporate. I believe we were owed more than the $10 or $15 gift card for our troubles (yes, we successfully returned item). I was told I would get an email. Never happened. I am worried about food safety for other customers as well. This happened in July. It is now November.

The texture of the beans looked greasy. They smelled like typical Starbucks coffee shop, burnt and sad. Tastes like I left my cup out all night then decided to drink it. Made me rethink my relationship with coffee. This might be on sale or a cheaper alternative but if you love coffee please spend a little more on the good stuff.

Highly Disappointed
The bag I got smelled and tasted burnt. I attempted to brew it 4 different ways and each time, it was disgusting. I'm done with Starbucks.

We are a household that loves a rich, dark roast to wake us up each morning, and this makes a serious cup to help get you going. It has hints of molasses and caramelized sugar, and I found that I only needed one packet of Stevia with a splash of cream to create my daily fuel. I normally make a sweeter drink, but I found with the sweet notes I didn't need to add much. I already love the Starbucks brand, and this ground coffee variety will definitely be a staple for our mornings. #ad #freesample
