We introduced this blend in 1998 for those who prefer a milder cup. A shade lighter than most of our offerings—more toasty than roasty—it was the result of playing with roast and taste profile together for a flavor that appealed to a wider range of palates. Perfect if you want to wake up to a less intense coffee but still want a lot of character, it's light and lively with a soft sweetness. We source 100% arabica beans when crafting our coffee. Each coffee bean requires a unique balance of temperature and time to reach its individual peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor.

This is my all time favorite blend. But, I'm disappointed I can't find the K-cups in Decaf also. Is this out there in the near future? Or am I just not finding in the right store?

I used a basic coffee maker to brew coffee with Pike roast because we love this brew in Stabucks & it was just like the coffee we have at Starbucks. No more spending money at Starbucks from now on, just going to do it home. Amazed by how good it tastes.

I loved it before they changed the packaging. I’m not sure what they did to the flavor of the beans, but it’s definitely not as good. Will probably not buy it again.

We have updated the packaging design for our whole bean, ground and K-cup® Pods. We have also updated the tasting notes to best describe the delicious flavors you'll find in every cup. The coffee inside is the same roast you know and love. The taste of the roast has not changed.

This is my favorite Starbuck's blend and I am always happy when I see that it's on sale at Target. So, I order it on line and within a few hours I get notification that my order is ready to be picked up at the store. It doesn't get any easier than that!

I was reluctant to try Starbucks ground coffee, it's usually out of my price range, but MANNN it is bold and smooth with a robustness that makes me not NEED more than 1 cup. Hey just because I don't neeeeeed it doesn't mean I don't want more!!! Trust me it's worth the extra.

It was our first time drinking this coffee and it tasted so good, not too strong, just perfect for the morning, that's why it is called breakfast blend. The aroma is so strong and so good, when we opened this coffee package our whole house was smelling like coffee. This coffee is now going to be our favorite one, as it tastes really good.
