Stokke Yoga Baby Bouncer - Light Beige

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this chair as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel when my daughter was 4 months old and about 14lbs. She fit perfectly and comfortably with the newborn insert still in. The 5 point harness/buckle gave me peace of mind when securing her in. This chair bounces off of the child’s movements. So the more she kicked the more it moved. The design is very sleek, and light weight. Fits anywhere, easy to transport, and with the neutral colors, looks good anywhere. We travel a lot so this is our go to travel chair to give her somewhere to relax besides her playpen. It comes with a mobile attachment that can be moved to multiple positions on the chair and you are able to attach any toy to it. Mine, unfortunately, did not come with any sort of attachment, so it was just a blank ring. But we had plenty of things to attach of our own. The seat fabric was very soft and my baby seems very comfortable when she is in the chair. When she is active it is great in entertaining her. When she is sleepy she doesn’t like to be in it as it stands still when she’s falling asleep. She prefers rhythmic movement when she’s tired. Overall, it doesn’t do many tricks but it’s an efficient resting/movement baby seat that can be a more portable option than battery powered alternatives. Otherwise, unless you have extra money to blow, I wouldn’t purchase this OVER an electric bouncer. It was still a solid, visually appealing product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the ease and simplicity of this swing bouncer. It was super easy to put together just a couple of clicks and it was done. I find that the side to side swing motion along with the bounce is an added bonus, even at just a week old my son likes to be in the bouncer. I like how it is easy to move from one room to another when needing a moment to be hands free. It is easy enough to carry with one hand while I carry my baby to get it set up in the room I need it. This is particularly helpful when I need to take a shower and want to keep him close by. It keeps him happy while I am busy. I really like the fabric of the seat and it looks like it will be easy to remove and clean when it gets dirty (I have yet to need to do this!). My little one also likes the material as he seems to want to eat the strap! I think the ability to change the recline so easily is very clever. The only thing I would have liked a little clearer instructions on how to do this as it is all just pictures no words it can be a little confusing. I was a little disappointed that the toy arm didn’t come with any toys to place on it but I do have plenty of toys that can easily be used with it. Anything that has a loop can be used! When I first set up this bouncer and swing combo, my initial impression was that it looked absolutely stunning—sleek, modern, and beautifully designed. My husband even walked in and jokingly said, "What is this, the Rolls Royce of baby chairs?!" And honestly, it does have that high-end feel. Once my little one was settled in, I could immediately see how comfortable and content he was. The natural movements helped soothe him effortlessly, and he seemed very satisfied lounging in it. The gentle bouncing and swinging motions kept him entertained and relaxed, making it a great tool for calming him down. In terms of convenience, the chair is fantastic for keeping my baby close throughout the day. The only drawback is that clicking the chair into the base was a bit tricky at first. Additionally, compared to the BabyBjörn bouncer, this one is a little heavier, so moving it from room to room with one hand isn’t as easy. That being said, it’s still an excellent addition to our routine. One of my favorite moments using this bouncer was when my little one was happily enjoying it while I got a much-needed hands-free break. It allowed me to take care of other tasks while keeping him entertained and comfortable. Another big plus is the fabric. The soft materials feel cozy, and when an inevitable diaper blowout happened, cleanup was a breeze. The cotton layer was super easy to wash, which is a huge win for any parent dealing with frequent messes. Final Thoughts: This bouncer/swing combo is packed with pros—it’s aesthetically beautiful, super comfortable for the baby, and easy to clean. The only con is its slightly heavier build, making it a bit less portable than some other options. This bouncer is absolutely beautiful in its design, which I really appreciate because it sits prominently in my living room for frequent use. My baby seems very comfortable, and more importantly, is safe, while in the bouncer. The fabric is so soft, plush, and stylish. The assembly was very quick and easy and while I have not needed to clean it yet, the cover comes off easily and I have no doubt it will wash up well. I am a homeschool mama of four, and this bouncer has become a safe place my baby can bounce and rest close to me while freeing up my hands to attend to my other children. The movements can be as slow or as intense as you need, allowing for the swing to grow with your little one. Set-up was easy and very detailed in the manual. It's very lightweight, making it easy to bring from room to room. It's definitely become a staple in my baby's daily playtime. As a busy mama, it's a lifesaver when I just have to put him down a bit but still need him nearby to keep an eye on him. (PSA do NOT let baby sleep in it. This is also noted several times on the packaging and manuals. The cotton layer is so so soft! You truly can feel the quality. The padding is great and especially the part around the shoulders. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay first impressions since receiving the Stokke bouncer from Stellar Product Testing Panel: looks nice, clean design, material is nice and breathable, and it’s soft to the touch. The whole thing is easy to build and works immediately. My little just turned 5 months and he really likes movement and boy does this thing deliver! It can be adjusted to three different sitting positions (upright, middle, and lay down) and it swivels side to side. Also, it can be completely taken apart and dries fast for easy clean up!!! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely pleased with the Stokke Yoga swing and bouncer combo. It was easy to assemble, and can be enjoyed right out of the box. It doesn't require a power source to operate, and while light enough to move throughout the house as needed, is sturdily built and can hold up to vigorous use. It's one of the few baby items we have that can keep my active 6 month old both busy and contained safely if I need hands free moments. We used it in both modes, and while the bounce mode easily held my babies attention, the swing swaying mode came out ahead for preferred motion. It was gentle and smooth, and has easily become part of our daytime routine. It spends most of its time in the kitchen for meal prep and eating, especially with the toy hook attached to dangle things from. I've even been able to make it through an entire cup of coffee while it's still hot thanks to this bouncer. It's fabric is incredibly soft and plush while still maintaining breathability. My little can get incredibly sweaty at times, but has remained cool and comfortable every time we've used it. It's also really durable and easy to wash. We had the opportunity to test out it's laundry capability several times now due to some unfortunate blowouts, and it's quick to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. The fabric still looks new out of the box, with no color changes or pilling. This chair has lived up to the high standards I expect from Stokke products and it's stylish and streamlined design make it easy to incorporate into any home. My baby and I really enjoyed testing this for the Stellar Testing Panel, and I expect we will be using it daily until my baby sizes out of it.

Unfortunately, I had already purchased another, very popular, expensive bouncer before receiving the Stokke. However, this allowed me to compare the two side by side and this is my honest comparison. Given the choice I would select the Stokke next time as it has a side to side "swing" sway to it in conjunction with the forward and back of traditional rockers. This feature didn't seem like a big deal until trying it with my large newborn (14lbs). The unique motion allows his to move him self for longer than the front to back rocker. He enjoys the side to side sway that mimics how I rock him in my arms. Other positive things to mention, it's esthetically cute like other Stokke products. Neutral fabric and wood base. It feels very sturdy. Assembly was simple, but I did struggle a little with the instructions (pictures only) and taking off the harness and fabric to wash before the 1st use. I figured it out eventually after realizing the harness is one piece. I removed one star for the weight limit being 20lbs, my guy is 2 months old and will outgrow this very soon. To be fair, I think my other bouncer has a similar weight restriction, but it does turn into a toddler chair, which this one doesn't. Also, I wish it came with some type of toy to hang on the included toy bar.

It has such a modern and sleek look that blends seamlessly with my home decor—definitely not an eyesore like some other baby gear can be! The best part about this bouncer is how it both sways side to side and bounces. My newborn is extremely picky and has rejected almost every other bouncer and similar products we’ve tried, except for a very basic one. But as soon as we put him in this, he took to it right away! I think the rhythmic motion really helped soothe him, which has been a game changer for us. I also love how lightweight it is, making it super easy to move from room to room. The only minor thing to keep in mind is that since it sways side to side, you do need to hold both the seat and the base when carrying it—but honestly, that’s not a big deal. Another feature I really appreciate is the five-point harness. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my baby is secure if I need to step away for a quick errand around the house while keeping him in my sight. The fabric material is another win for me. It’s breathable and mesh-like, which keeps my baby cool, but it also has a soft cotton finish that’s gentle on his skin. I haven’t had to clean it yet, but from the feel of the material, I can tell it would be quick and easy to wipe down with a short drying time. The only downside I found was the placement of the toy attachment bar. It sits too far to the side, meaning the toy isn’t directly in front of my baby’s eyes—he has to turn his head to one side to see it. I worry that this could create an imbalance in his neck muscles over time, so I wish the design allowed for a more centered toy placement. Overall, I really loved this bouncer and how well it worked for my baby when so many others didn’t. When I received the bouncer, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up. When the seat clicked into place most of the adjustments were intuitive. The material is a super-soft mesh-like material with excellent breathability, so I can lay a blanket on my baby without them getting too warm. My baby only likes being in it for about 20 minutes at a time, which works perfectly since that’s the recommended time per use. The bouncer moves naturally with my baby, resulting in a smoother movement and no overstimulation. I have placed this bouncer right beside my desk, making it extremely easy to talk with him and give it a bounce to keep my little one happy! My baby has greatly enjoyed the attachment that will hold a toy, especially since he has started grabbing for things. I was impressed with how soft and cozy the materials were, especially compared to some of my other bouncer seats. I love the wooden base and the neutral colors as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stokke Yoga bouncer is everything I wanted and didn't know I wanted in a bouncer. Firstly, I absolutely love the aesthetics of this bouncer. Part of having a baby means having baby gear all around the house, which is usually taking away from my home aesthetics...not this bouncer! It looks so sleek and high end, I love the wood legs and cushion color. The cushion is extremely soft, I'm very impressed and so is my baby! We currently have this bouncer in our kitchen and baby always hangs out in it quietly while we cook and eat, which is a lot of time throughout the day. He doesn't make a peep while in this bouncer, he loves it! He coos, smiles, and enjoys looksing around. Unlike some other bouncers, it takes very little movement from baby to actually bounce, my baby is just over 2 months and he's able to get movement out of it from his feet alone. Every now and then I'll give the bouncer a quick tap to keep him moving and the bouncer will keep going for quite awhile on momentum alone which is really nice. Another awesome perk has been the toy extension arm that attaches to the side of the bouncer, I love that you can attach any toy there to keep your little babe entertained. We frequently rotate out toys for him to keep him busy. Other bouncers with toy attachments typically can't be changed out and babies tend to get bored of the same toy. Not an issue with Stokke Yoga! Set up was a breeze as is adjusting the lean which I appreciate. The toy arm attachment just snaps right onto the side of the bouncer. I was ecstatic when I was given this baby bouncer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! Overall, this is the best product I have had with my 2 month old. It combines the soothing motions of a bouncer and a swing & he absolutely loved it. While my 2 month old was being soothed by the smooth and seamless motions of the swing/bouncer combo, I was able to get multiple things done around the house that would have been impossible had I not had this bouncer. This bouncer was extremely convenient & super easy to set up. I loved the fact that I could keep my son close by to give him the comfort that Mommy was still near. This bouncer has a single lever in the back of it that allows you to seamlessly switch between different levels of reclining positions. I use this bouncer every day for my 2 month old, it allows me to be completely hands free while still keeping baby boy occupied while I make my morning coffee & get things done around the house. This bouncer has an extremely soft and luxurious cotton texture to it, making baby super comfortable and cozy. The texture of this bouncer made clean up a breeze after my 2 month old spit up on one of the straps. Every piece is fully machine washable & doesn't affect the quality in the least bit. I had another bouncer for my twin boys and it fell apart after the first use. This bouncers quality is so noticeable. My boys didn’t like the one we originally had but they love this one. I really want to have another one so they don’t have to share lol. It supports them so swell. The swivel is awesome and it also goes up and down. Whenever they don’t want the swing, I put my boys in here and they are so relaxed. I love the color as well. Having just had twin babies, I need safe and suitable places to put my kiddos when I need my hands to be free. The Stokke Yoga has become a perfect solution for me. It's lightweight and easy to move where I need it to be. The soft, breathable, mesh fabric makes it comfortable for my babies, and the swing and bounce features provide soothing movements for little ones. When I am done nursing one baby, or just need to grab something, I can easily buckle them into the Stokke Yoga and feel confident they are secure and safe. The upright seat allows them to remain upright after eating and also, so I can see their sweet faces. The fabric is soft and breathable and easy to wipe down after spit up if needed. I love that it bounces reactively based on their movement (or mine should I need to give them a little bounce). I also like the ability to swivel so my littles can be seen from everywhere. The Stokke Yoga has a beautiful neutral aesthetic so it doesn't stand out glaringly in my room. It blends in easily with our furniture and decor. It's relatively slim and light weight so it doesn't take up tons of space but provides adequate support for our babies. I'm so glad to have this to use during these sweet and demanding baby days!

I’ve tried 4 others (hand me downs, gifts) and none of them compare to the quality, ease of assembly and comfort for my baby. Not only is it soft and stylish but it’s adjustable which is my favorite feature. It can recline to relax and soothe or sit up to play and observe, which my baby currently loves as he’s getting bigger. I also love that it can swing front to back AND side to side, which is a feature many bouncers do not have. It has an easily removable arm on the side that you can loop toys onto for your baby to play with so they are occupied and can practice reaching. My baby constantly wants to be held, so when I need to get something done around the house it can be difficult - this bouncer is a must have for freeing up my arms. It’s my go to for when I need to take a shower. The soft outer shell and cushy newborn insert couldn’t be easier to remove and clean. Overall, super happy with the quality and functionality of this product and I will be purchasing more Stokke products in the future.

My daughter was born on the smaller side and many of the baby containers we already had were too big for her to safely use. Not the Stokke Yoga--it fits perfectly for her with the five point harness and newborn insert. That alone would make this bouncer worth it if you know you'll be bringing home a smaller baby. With two under two at home, safe places to put baby down are a must! On top of complete confidence in its safety for my young baby, it's also gorgeous and fits in seamlessly with the decor in our house. The fabric is soft and noticeably high-quality, as well as easy to disassemble for cleaning. It's very sturdy with a heavy base. With a wild toddler son in our house, I appreciate the extra stability from the solid base knowing that he won't be able to knock it over. However, it does make it more difficult to move quickly from room to room. As far as function, the bouncer is a little bit jerky if you are using the classic "tap your foot" maneuver to bounce it (veteran parents, if you know you know!) but the swing function is really nice and smooth with just a small tap to get it going. I think as my baby gets heavier, that jerkiness in the bounce will correct itself but it is worth noting for the early days. Overall, I love this bouncer and it's one of the few baby products we use on a daily basis! I expect it will continue to be a staple for our growing girl. Having 6 little ones we’ve been through lots of swings and honestly I don’t know how I survived without this one! It is very well made and the fabric is soft and gentle on my babies skin; It’s is also very easy to remove for necessary washes! My favorite part of this product is that it is both a swing and bouncer so you can easily change modes to whatever is soothing baby. My baby loves this bouncer/swing and will sit contently while mama gets things done!
