A: Hi, thanks for reaching out. The outside of the crib is 54''. The mattress size should be at least 27.25 inches wide x 51.625 inches long and should not exceed more than 6 inches thick. The mattress should be of such length and width that the gap between the mattress and the sides of the crib is not more than 1-3/16 inches when the mattress is pushed into the corner of the crib. This is for safety reasons, ensuring no gaps.

Horrible quailty
I thought this bed look great when it arrived. Less than two weeks of owning, my toddler has barely slept in it and there paint peeling in various places. Specially the bottom of the footboard. Highly disappointed because the it now looks terrible and old in his room. Would not recommend.

Unable to put together properly
Didn’t have the correct holes for the screws. Customer service said they could send replacement boards in 15 to 20 business days. I bought two beds this was an issue with both beds.

Do not waste your time or money. Absolutely worst assembly design I have ever encountered. After way too much time spent trying to get all foundation slats in the side rail holes I have decided that it simply isnt worth further effort. This is being returned to the store. I DO NOT care if they refund my money or not it is being left at the store...Fuming...seeing way too many items being sold that require return to manufactuter and not the store...Also purchased the coordination 3 in 1 crib. Also returning that as I doubt the assembly will be any better. Completely disgusted.

Cute Bed. Assembly sucks!
Love the looks of the bed when you finally get it put together. Like a few others have stated the predrilled holes aren’t there in the very first couple of steps. Because of that I ended up putting a couple of holes in the wrong spot so now I need to go find some black wood putty to fill in those spots. The instructions clearly show the holes but they aren’t there. Also the slats are awful without someone’s help. Once I got that all done the rest went together easier. It is a cute bed if you have an hour or so and some patience.

Set up was horrible
The bed is cute but my god, it is NOT easy to set up, the slats are almost impossible to put in. You have to have someone hold them in place, for the screws there’s no pilot holes took WAY longer than anytime I’ve spent on any ikea furniture.

The fact that you have to drill your own holes to put bed together (I have no drill). Of course missing one screw. It took way too long to put together, the quality not that great for the price point.

Cant wait to recommend to my worst enemy
This bed is a joke. Assembly is terrible. You have to screw straight into the particle board with no pre drilled holes or markings. It’s hard to get the screw in perfectly and if it’s not perfect all of the next steps are impossible. I knew in the first five minutes that my work was cut out for me but MAN did I underestimate. I build things all the time, this was the worst thing I’ve ever attempted to build. That’s including things I’ve built from scratch.
