Upon opening the Sugar Free Hot Fudge Topping for the first time, I was met with a very thick consistency. I was hopeful it would thin out once heated according to instructions. However, after it was warmed up, it remained difficult to drizzle. It would have a tendency to clump up and completely slide off my ice cream. My partner found a way around this by mixing it into our ice cream rather than letting it sit on top. The flavor, I feel, made up for the consistency though. It taste exactly as a sugar-free alternative is expected to while keeping the tasty chocolate flavor and a sweetness level that is not overbearing. Overall, if the consistency was more like the Smucker’s Sugar-Free Caramel topping, I feel I would have enjoyed this a bit more. My partner, on the other hand, has almost finished the full bottle of chocolate alone. It still stands as a hit in my house, it just comes down to personal preferences in texture. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tasted the sugar free hot fudge out of the jar, it felt not quite as chocolately as regular hot fudge and had a slight aftertaste that wasn't like the original either. But once I warmed it and put it on ice cream, it was perfect! Chocolatey and rich and no one could tell it was sugar free. So I'm not sure if it needed the sugar of the ice cream, or if it will still be yummy on things like apple slices. Looking forward to trying it. I don't love that this has sucralose (splenda) which studies are suggesting hurts your microbiome and can break DNA. I would prefer something like monk fruit. But regardless, it's yummy and I'm still gonna eat it, lol

One of the complaints I normally have with fudge is the consistency. I like more runny fudge when warm and this is perfect! It warms quickly and becomes liquid and pourable. The flavor is also good, minimal aftertaste for a sugar free product. It can be overpowering but I just used less than I do with normal fudge products. This might become a staple in my fridge for my nighttime treats!

There's no weird aftertaste for a sugar-free product. The texture is thick as well as its taste is rich and creamy. This topping goes well on toast, waffles, and ice cream. I personally like this one more than the caramel sugar-free one. Great alternative for regular hot fudge topping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor is pleasant and good, it is not as cloying as I thought; I recommend it to enjoy your ice cream at home, that is why I usually buy ice cream and the cones to enjoy at home and with these toppings it is much better. The only detail that I recommend is that since it comes in a jar, its consistency is a little firm so I didn't like it when I added it with the spoon. It is preferable to buy this topping in a squeezable presentation.
