🤯. Woah.
Woah. I used ALDI’s Generic Peanut Butter the last several dozen times I had a PB&J Sandwich or a Peanut Butter Sandwich. And I usually bought the CHUNKY kind because the crunches seemed to add more flavor to the ALDI Generic Peanut Butter. I never remembered the SKIPPY Brand tasting THIS GOOD! 🤯 It tasted so creamy and salty and sweet and rich and dense but still easily spreadable!!!

I haven't had skippy in 7 years btw…
I remember skippy tasting like any ordinary peanut butter, but based on what others are saying, they've changed their formula in 1994. I tried it again today and it tasted different, almost weird…and I'm kinda disappointed. Do better Skippy☹️ #JusticeForMyTastebuds

The taste and texture never change. This item is covered under the WIC food benefit program.

Flavor change
Flavor is off. I’ve had multiple jars and for a while now it’s tasted slightly different. Almost like it’s old. Used to be a great snack now I can’t get past a single lick

What have you done to my Skippy?
I have been using Skippy for probably over 35 years now and am unable to enjoy it anymore. Your new formula is just awful (and no, it's not the temperature, climate or store) and I will have to change brands now. The oily, slimy, runny consistency is not good at all. The flavor suffers, the consistency is not palatable, and I can't even use it for baking anymore because of the texture.

Skippy creamy peanut butter is the only peanut butter I buy. I love the flavor, the consistency is perfect.

This is no longer a good product. It's oily and thin.
I used it for putting on bread or crackers. I won't be using it any more. Too much strange oil.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with this product! Storage conditions prior to purchasing can create separation or textural changes in peanut butter. High temperatures as well as very cold temperatures will affect the product. This may explain the condition you experienced. It is not a food safety issue. Please look for a separate email from our team so we can grab some more information.

If I could give it ZERO stars I would!
I have been eating only Skippy peanut butter for over 50 years. For a while now (and I thought it was just me or our store, but it's NOT), the peanut butter is just awful! It is so runny and oily that it literally won't stay on anything! It barely stays on the knife to try and spread it, and the taste is so off as well! I thought I'd never say this, as I have been a loyal Skippy only peanut butter family (even though my husband always preferred Jiff), but if you keep this new Skippy recipe, or whatever you did, I will be looking for a new brand. I don't care about whatever you used to have in the peanut butter, PUT IT BACK! I don't eat it every single day, or in massive quantities, I've been eating it the way it was over 50 years (and so did my grandma, and she lived to be almost 90), and I'm still here! The current Skippy is the WORST! And not worth buying anymore!

I've always loved Skippy
I have always been a defender of Skippy peanut butter because it was better than any other brand available. I can no longer defend it. It has become so runny that it slides right off my bread. Please change it back.

Changed for the worst. What a shame
It never fails sooner or later a great product goes down the drain from corporate greed. The Millennials and Gen Z'ers fresh out of college getting management jobs are ruining everything. I'm 60 years old and have been eating Skippy since age of 2. It's NOT the same product anymore and has a weird off taste similar to store brand peanut butter. Corporate greed destroyed the greatest peanut butter ever. I will not be buying it anymore

Please admit something has changed!
I have been purchasing skippy 2 packs at a big name bulk store for years. The recent pair has been incredibly oily. I used a paper towel to remove some of the separated oil, but it is still very liquid. It squeezes out of PB&J sandwiches. I am hoping this is a one time thing, but the other reviews make me fear it is not.

Product separates and tastes very slightly different...BUT..
....if it means no more palm products, I can deal with it and will continue with Skippy as my top brand for baking. I'm no tree hugger. But I've learned (from several sources, always get your information from *several* sources) that harvesting palm is astonishingly TERRIBLE for the environment. So if you had palm products in it before, fine I'll accept the new Skippy formula.

Hate to make a change but....
Grew up with Skippy. First apartment..Skippy. Marriage and family...Skippy. Retirement...Skippy? What happened? Our last few jars can only be described as oily and runny, so unappetizing. Gave it a few tries, wondering if we just got a "bad batch." The taste is similar, but it's hard to get past that texture (one of the reasons I've never been a Jif fan). Whatever the change is, please, please, please reconsider and give us our Skippy back!

Texture and taste changed.
Last few bottles have changed. Texture and taste not like before. There's oil separation but more importantly tastes different.

Disappointed
I was raised on Skippy Peanut Butter but I can no longer eat it. The taste is different and the consistency is oily. I have switched to another brand. If the old recipe comes back, I will be back to Skippy.
